Background / History

Elsa is the younger princess of the Kingdom of Hailandi and Anfi’s sister. At fifteen, she became troubled by the growing frequency of disasters and began taking ancient myths, ruins, and the Moon seriously despite previously showing little interest in them. Her concern was rooted in royal responsibility: she believed the kingdom’s heirs could not ignore a possible threat to their subjects. 324 325

While investigating an ancient stone slab whose pattern resembled the Moon, Elsa theorized that the Moon might be linked to Filth. Contemplating this possibility caused a violent reaction: veins swelled across her face, her eyes became bloodshot, and she nearly lost consciousness before Anfi brought her back to herself. 325

After the Church seized the expedition’s stone carvings, Elsa resolved to seek the truth rather than remain ignorant. That night, she encountered a Filth-born version of herself in a dream beneath a silver moon. The shadow claimed to be born from Elsa’s hidden desires and urged her to serve Hydra, the God of Mud and Thousand-Faced Moon. 326

The dream carried Elsa into the Order Empire, where Pence Jones recognized that Elsa did not truly belong in the dream world and detected the Filth within her. With Pence and Grand Witch Winsani’s help, Elsa subdued the shadow rather than being consumed by it, becoming the Silver Moon Apostle and Shadow Follower. 327 328

Elsa’s physical body remained comatose in Hailandi for a year and a half while she experienced over a month in the Order Empire’s dream. When she awoke, her Apostle power returned with her, restoring her deteriorated body under moonlight. She accepted a trial: use Silver Moon and Shadow power to protect her world and demonstrate that controlled Filth power need not be evil. 328 329

Appearance

In her human form, Elsa is a fifteen-year-old princess and knight who wears silver-white armor and keeps her long hair behind her back. Her Apostle power gives her an increasingly uncanny, moonlit presence. 325 332

  • Apostle manifestation — Her hair shines silver like moonlight; black mist surrounds her body, and her eyes bear half-moon marks. 331
  • Shadow double — She can manifest a dark, semi-floating Elsa with half-moon pupils as an extension of her own will. 334
  • Divine Favorite Body — Her transformed body is a dark-gray, hairless Walrus Person with a walrus-like head, broad shoulders, and unusually thick limbs. 340
  • Divine scale — At peak Triple Divine Markings, her Walrus Person form grows to nearly one thousand meters tall. 340 341

Personality

Elsa is resolute, pragmatic, and strongly motivated by responsibility toward Hailandi’s people. She chooses to pursue dangerous truths even when doing so risks her life, reputation, and royal status. 325 326

Her experiences in the Order Empire make her more measured rather than reckless. She recognizes that her power could provoke the Church, Sky Clan, nobles, and Seven Gods, so she initially seeks to understand their views before openly spreading the Apostle path. 330 331

Elsa also values loyalty and personal bonds. She trusts Anfi, Ilaine, and Megan, refuses to needlessly sacrifice her knights, and risks her own divine protection to save Dolen during a failed Apostle-promotion ritual. 330 336 348

Abilities & Skills

Silver Moon and Shadow Apostle

Elsa controls a Filth-born shadow that was once an independent manifestation of her fears and desires. The shadow now acts as an extension of Elsa rather than a hostile personality. 328 331

  • Can manifest and merge with her shadow to enter an empowered spiritual state. 331
  • Uses the shadow to scout distant locations and perceive Filth through spiritual vision. 334
  • Can see entities concealed from ordinary humans, including Yudora of the Sky Clan. 331
  • Can fly in her human form without wings or Demon Dragon transformation. 336 337
  • Her initial Apostle strength was only comparable to a low-level Divine Markings practitioner and was insufficient against the Flandor calamity without divine intervention. 336

Divine Favorite Body and Divine Markings

Idhaila’s Divine Favor, together with the Moon’s power already within Elsa, transformed her into a Walrus Person and elevated her to peak Triple Divine Markings. 340 341

  • Possesses immense physical strength; even moving her leg causes the earth to tremble. 341
  • Her presence overwhelms nearby knights and a high-ranking Filth Demon, while Demon Dragons submit to her power. 341
  • Can condense water into an ice-crystal spear and launch it with devastating force. 343
  • Her Apostle flight cannot properly sustain the weight of her immense Divine Mark body. 340 349

Apostle Promotion

Elsa can guide qualified mortals toward becoming Silver Moon and Shadow Apostles through rituals involving Filth Demon flesh, Spirituality, moonlight, and divine grace. 333 347

  • Uses the Star Dream Emblem to identify mortals with extraordinary potential. 332
  • Conducted Megan’s successful transcendence ritual, granting her a shadow companion. 335
  • Attempts to promote Daron/Dolen showed that the process involves physical agony, mental torment, and the danger of losing control. 347 348
  • Chose to intervene when Dolen’s shadow monster threatened to overwhelm him, prioritizing his life over conserving divine aid. 348

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Star Dream Emblem / Sacred Emblem — A ring-shaped starlight badge given by the Dream Witch Idhaila. It can test extraordinary aptitude, anchor Elsa’s world for the Sovereign, and contains limited divine protection. 328 332 336
  • Knight’s sword — Carried as part of Elsa’s royal knight attire and used during her oath to her knights. 332
  • Ice-crystal spear — A weapon Elsa forms from water through her Divine Markings power. 343

Relationships

  • Anfi — Elsa’s elder sister. Anfi supports Elsa despite fearing that she has been corrupted and later becomes Yudora’s contractor. 329 330 339
  • Pence Jones Shali — Elsa’s mentor during her Order Empire dream. Pence identified Elsa’s abnormal dream state, detected her shadow, and helped arrange its binding. 327 328
  • Grand Witch Winsani — Assisted Pence Jones in binding Elsa’s shadow and supported Elsa’s decision to accept her trial. 328
  • Idhaila — The Dream Witch whose emblem aided Elsa. Idhaila answered Elsa’s plea at Flandor, blessed her with Divine Favor, and elevated her to Triple Divine Markings. 337 340
  • Yudora — Sky Clan member and Fairy of the Lake. She initially considered Elsa a Filth Demon, but Elsa’s actions and Idhaila’s manifestation forced her to reconsider. 331 339 340
  • Ilaine — Captain of Elsa’s Royal Knights and her knighthood teacher. Ilaine is among Elsa’s most trusted supporters. 330 332
  • Megan — Deputy commander of Elsa’s Knights. She is the first to publicly affirm loyalty after Elsa reveals her condition and later becomes an Apostle. 332 335
  • Marcia / Masia — Earth Dragon God and one of the Seven Gods. Marcia initially investigates Elsa cautiously but comes to regard her as a potential ally after witnessing her actions. 343 345
  • Silver Wolf Lofi — A Godhead God serving Idhaila. Elsa recognizes her as a senior figure from the Order Empire when Lofi descends upon her world. 350
