After death, Natsuki arrived in the afterlife.

Opening his eyes, he found himself in a vast desert, with a pale moon hanging in the sky.

Then, a white monster attacked him.

Just as Natsuki thought he was going to die, a figure dressed in black and wielding a long sword appeared and defeated the monster.

Everything seemed to be heading in a good direction.

But unexpectedly, an even larger monster appeared, and before he could even learn the name of the man who saved him, the man died.

To survive, Natsuki could only pick up the long sword left by the man and choose to fight.

He didn't know that the moment he grasped that sword, he had already become a Shinigami!
