Winning Dezaya Over

A few days later.

The news of the Big Daddy Pirates' assault on Loguetown was less popular than the brief appearance of Belo Betty, commander of the Revolutionary Army East Army, in Loguetown.

After all, Daddy was just a rookie pirate with a 30-million-Beli bounty, while Belo Betty was a wanted criminal of the World Government with a bounty of over 400 million Beli!

After spending a few days together, Carmen, the cook, had finally settled into the Big Daddy Pirates. The former female pirates of the Candy Pirates had also become kitchen hands.

Dezaya's Candy Pirates had even owned several speedboats. They'd originally planned to form a speedboat squadron, but now they'd all fallen into the hands of the Big Daddy Pirates.

Nami quickly mastered how to operate the speedboats and took charge of them, while Dezaya had lost all her authority and was being kept by Daddy like a slave.

She still hadn't realized that she was nothing more than a pretty ornament who couldn't do anything!

That morning, Daddy woke up refreshed after climbing off Dezaya. She lay on the bed like a puddle of mud, her skin flushed and feverish. She looked as if she'd enjoyed herself but was stubbornly pretending to be cold and indifferent.

"Three days, and you're still stubborn, even though your body tells the truth! If you really don't want to stay with me, I'll give up. You can kill yourself, and I won't stop you!

"But I'll make your crew join you in the grave, so you won't be lonely on the road to the afterlife!"

Daddy spoke casually as he got dressed. If three days of intense sex still hadn't made this woman face reality, he wouldn't force her anymore!

It wasn't as if he'd be short of women in the future!

Dezaya had only been taking advantage of being the first woman in Daddy's life to make him tolerate her over and over!

Even Nami didn't get this kind of special treatment, let alone Honey Queen, the female pirate he'd taken by force.

Dezaya gritted her teeth as she spoke, then grabbed the Sube Sube no Mi and took a bite. She'd already lost Granny and Barto, and she'd lost the Candy Pirates too. Now, all she had left was Daddy!

She wasn't willing to leave Daddy to a seductress like Honey Queen, either!

She was Daddy's first woman!

She was going to take it all back!

This Devil Fruit, worth more than a billion Beli, was just enough to soothe her grief over losing Granny.

This man still cared about her a little.

"This Sube Sube no Mi is the gift I prepared for you! And when you were with the Barto Family, you couldn't even protect our house. What do you still have to miss about them?"

Seeing Dezaya make her choice, Daddy chuckled. His clothes fell to the floor again as he prepared to explore the effects of the Sube Sube no Mi with her.

After eating the Sube Sube no Mi, Dezaya's beauty rose at a visible speed, making Daddy unable to resist taking things further.

That would mean another whole day of exploration and discovery.

The Big Daddy Pirates' crew had already gotten used to Daddy teaching Dezaya, his former girlfriend, a lesson. Only Nami gritted her teeth in frustration.

So what if she's bigger there and perkier here? What's so great about that?!

The seventeen-year-old Nami puffed out her cheeks. She wasn't exactly flat herself.

Why wasn't Daddy interested in her at all?

She touched her orange hair. She really did look a little like a boy right now. Did Daddy like girls with long hair and a mature look?

So Nami decided to grow her hair out and learn about clothes and makeup from Honey Queen. She couldn't keep wearing such old-fashioned T-shirts.

When Daddy showed up with the extraordinarily beautiful Dezaya, even Nami, Honey Queen, and Carmen were captivated. Steel Bear and the others hurriedly lowered their heads, afraid to look for too long. The captain's woman was just too beautiful.

They were afraid Daddy would beat them up if they stared for even a few seconds too many!

Is that really Dezaya? Can doing that actually make you prettier?

Nami and the other women stared at the beautiful Dezaya, dumbfounded. Even the female pirates from the former Candy Pirates couldn't believe Dezaya's breathtaking appearance.

"Dezaya will be an officer on the ship from now on," Daddy said casually.

He didn't give her much authority. She was just one of his women, after all.

Although Dezaya was his first woman and had become a stunning beauty after eating the Sube Sube no Mi, her standing would only go so far if she couldn't keep up in strength!

"I was Daddy's woman before he ever set sail. But now I'm the last one to join the ship, so I'm just a newcomer. I hope you'll all take good care of me!"

Dezaya spoke humbly while emphasizing her relationship with Daddy. She sounded a little like a scheming green tea. She even gave Honey Queen, her little rival, a few extra looks, while barely sparing a glance for Nami, with her somewhat old-fashioned short hair.

Nami clenched her fists, shouting in her heart, Every dog has its day. Don't look down on a girl just because she's plain!

Daddy ignored the sparks flying between the women. After slacking off for a few days, he was ready to resume training.

After seeing the power of Belo Betty's abilities, Daddy felt that he was still too weak!

He ordered the crew to double their training, too!

They'd nearly been killed by the people empowered by Belo Betty's Pump-Pump Fruit. It was downright humiliating.

As long as training didn't kill them, they had to train like their lives depended on it!

The Dreadnaught Sabre, a huge three-deck sailing ship, had plenty of space. Daddy's crew now numbered only a little over twenty, so everyone had more than enough room to train and relax.

When the ship had belonged to the East Blue Overlord Krieg's crew, it had served as their flagship and could carry two or three hundred people at once.

Following Daddy's orders, the Big Daddy Pirates had slowly approached the entrance to the Grand Line, Reverse Mountain, after leaving Loguetown.

But according to the map, there were several small islands before Reverse Mountain, as well as a Marine Branch fortress.

Loguetown was just the nearest medium-sized island to the entrance of the Grand Line, not the nearest island. It was only more famous because of Pirate King Roger.

"Captain Daddy! The island ahead is Warship Island!"

Nami shouted when she spotted an island shaped like a warship. Seeing it meant they were really close to Reverse Mountain!
