Background / History
Tang Hao was one of the Clear Sky Twin Stars alongside his elder brother, Tang Xiao. At eighteen, he was already fiercely hostile toward Martial Soul Hall and Qian Xunji, largely because Tang Zhen had been defeated and crippled by Qian Xunji. 35 56
His hatred deepened over the following years. He cultivated with unusual speed, entered Slaughter City, and emerged at age twenty-eight as a Level 70 Soul Saint. The killing intent accumulated there nearly overwhelmed him, prompting him to seek Tang Yuehua's help at the Moonlight Pavilion. 70 92
Before reaching Heaven Dou City, Tang Hao encountered A-Zhu, a human-transformed Man Faced Demon Spider Emperor. Though initially wary, he was immediately drawn to her through Qian Xunji's manipulated thread of fate and offered her protection; the two subsequently travelled together and became partners. 70 92 93 140
A-Zhu later gave birth to their son, Tang San. When Ning Fengzhi, Chen Xin, and Gu Rong attacked their home to seize A-Zhu's Hundred-Thousand-Year soul ring and soul bone, Tang Hao fought to protect his family despite being badly outmatched. He was teleported away during the assault and returned too late to save A-Zhu or prevent Tang San's abduction. 149 150 152
Driven mad by grief, Tang Hao detonated all eight of his soul rings through the Great Sumeru Hammer to strike Bone Douluo. The attack gravely injured Gu Rong, but Tang Hao could not stop his enemies from escaping. 153 154
Tang Hao returned to the Clear Sky Sect in despair and accepted Tang Zhen's humiliating decision to seek Qian Xunji's help. Qian Xunji subsequently returned Tang San to the Clear Sky Sect unharmed, though Tang Hao's hatred of the Pope remained undiminished. 159 162 169
After learning of a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast at the Lake of Life, Tang Hao pursued its soul ring as a means to avenge A-Zhu and restore the Clear Sky Sect. He killed Ah Rou to incite the Star Dou Great Forest's soul beasts and force Martial Soul Hall into the resulting chaos; the hunt ultimately led to Tang Zhen sacrificing his life so Tang Hao could obtain the ring. 169 170 180 182
The absorbed ring elevated Tang Hao to Level 92 and corrupted his Clear Sky Hammer into a black, soul-devouring mutation. Following the Clear Sky Sect's public disgrace, he split its forces: Tang Xiao remained in the open to preserve the sect's orthodox legacy, while Tang Hao led a quarter of its disciples into the shadows to acquire resources through plunder. 183 184 187
Tang Hao initially organized his shadow faction as the Meteor Heaven Sect in the Star Luo Empire, massacring those whom he considered fraudulent claimants to Clear Sky Sect compensation and seizing their resources. After Qian Xunji exposed the sect's crimes and defeated him again, Tang Hao continued operating under the identity of the Holy Spirit Cult's leader. 188 190 191 215
Over the following six years, Tang Hao expanded the Holy Spirit Cult through systematic raids and plunder. He recruited Bibi Dong as the cult's second leader, codenamed Pink Nightmare, and helped her acquire high-level spider-type soul rings at sea; by this period, Tang Hao himself had advanced to Level 96. 220 239
Personality
Tang Hao is intensely proud, hot-tempered, and driven by grudges. His hatred of Qian Xunji and Ning Fengzhi repeatedly motivates both his cultivation and his decisions. 70 92 140 214
He is also fiercely protective of his family. He willingly faced two Titled Douluo and Ning Fengzhi to defend A-Zhu and their newborn child, later accepted humiliation before Qian Xunji to recover Tang San, and watches over Tang San's early cultivation from the shadows. 149 150 152 162 169 217
After A-Zhu's death and Tang Zhen's sacrifice, Tang Hao becomes increasingly ruthless and fatalistic. He accepts becoming a “devil” if it will preserve the Clear Sky Sect, leading the Holy Spirit Cult's raids and ordering his followers to target Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect disciples. 187 223
His paternal concern is possessive and frequently manifests as brutality toward others. He treats Tang San's potential as the future of both his bloodline and the Holy Spirit Cult, and he forcibly takes Oscar's Eight Spider Lances in the belief that the external soul bone can strengthen his son. 209 217 306
Despite his vengeance, Tang Hao is not wholly reckless. He avoids directly provoking Martial Soul Hall because he recognizes that Qian Xunji is far beyond his ability to defeat, and he retreats from the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace after detecting three hidden Titled Douluo. 215 241 290
Abilities & Skills
Clear Sky Hammer
Tang Hao wields the Clear Sky Hammer, a powerful tool-type martial soul. Following his absorption of a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring, it mutates into a pitch-black hammer surrounded by baleful aura. 150 183
- Possesses immense physical striking force and durability.
- Can expand to the size of a small mountain in combat. 150
- The mutated hammer has a 30% chance to absorb the soul of a life killed by it. 183
- Qian Xunji later identifies enslaved victim souls within the hammer. 191
- By the Holy Spirit Cult era, the hammer contains nearly a hundred resentful souls acquired through Tang Hao's killings. 220
- Tang Hao can release the imprisoned souls as screaming, hostile phantoms to hinder or pressure opponents. 269
Slaughter God's Domain
Tang Hao obtained the Slaughter God's Domain after surviving Slaughter City and the Hell Road. 92 150
- Releases oppressive killing intent over the battlefield.
- Enhances his combat presence and makes approaching him dangerous. 150 153
Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer
A Clear Sky Sect hammer technique that builds power through repeated swings. 150
- Tang Hao stacked the technique through more than thirty consecutive hammer strikes while fighting Chen Xin and Gu Rong. 150
- Its effectiveness is limited by overwhelming gaps in cultivation and support-type amplification. 150
Great Sumeru Hammer and Ring Detonation
The Clear Sky Sect's life-risking ultimate technique. 150 153
- Detonates soul rings to pour their energy into a single hammer strike.
- Tang Hao detonated all eight of his original rings simultaneously against Bone Douluo. 153
- The resulting blow shattered Gu Rong's Martial Soul Avatar, broke multiple ribs, and inflicted grave injuries despite Bone Douluo's layered defenses. 154
- He later combines Ring Detonation with Resentment of the Pink Rabbit in his failed attempt to defeat Qian Xunji. 191
- Using the technique risks exhausting Tang Hao's combat resources and is employed only in desperate circumstances. 150 153
Resentment of the Pink Rabbit
Tang Hao's first ninth soul skill, obtained from his Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring. 183
- Transforms and enlarges the hammerhead into a pink demonic rabbit skull.
- More than doubles the hammerhead's hardness and density.
- Used with Ring Detonation against Qian Xunji. 191
Charm Rabbit Gaze Lock
Tang Hao's second ninth soul skill. 183
- Emits an eerie pink halo from the hammer.
- Forces surrounding enemies to focus on the hammer and become mentally charmed.
- Creates a subconscious compulsion to face the incoming strike rather than evade it.
- Restricts movement techniques and teleportation-based escape. 183
Soul Enslavement
A consequence of his mutated Clear Sky Hammer's soul-devouring property. 183 188
- Victims slain by the hammer may have their souls imprisoned within it rather than passing on. 183
- Tang Hao uses the enslaved souls as a combat resource, unleashing them in groups against enemies. 269
- The souls retain intense resentment and are vulnerable to attacks targeting the spiritual level, as Chen Xin demonstrates when dispersing them. 269

- Ning Fengzhi — Mortal enemy whom Tang Hao blames for A-Zhu's death and Tang San's abduction. 150 152 214
- Yu Xiaogang — Ostensible ally against the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect; Tang Hao entrusts Tang San to him because of his martial soul theory and teaching ability, though he later grows suspicious of Yu Xiaogang's unexplained power and secrets. 214 217 239
- Bibi Dong — Holy Spirit Cult co-leader codenamed Pink Nightmare. Tang Hao helps cultivate her second martial soul through sea-beast hunts and considers her a valuable source of spider-martial-soul knowledge for Tang San. 239
- Tang Yuehua — Sister; Tang Hao intends to seek her help in suppressing the killing intent he accumulated in Slaughter City. 92
