Background & History

Zhu Zhuqing was one of the Shrek Seven Devils who descended to the lower realm and exchanged bodies with Zhu Lu. Living under Zhu Lu's identity, she accompanied the latter's mother to the White Tiger Duke Mansion for a proposed marriage alliance with the Dai Clan. The arrangement was not compulsory, as the Zhu and Dai Clans stood as political equals in the Star Luo Empire. 13 62

Her life as Zhu Lu gave her a sense of freedom that she had lacked before. Disappointed by Dai Huabin and Dai Yueheng, she resolved to live for herself rather than remain bound by her past regrets. 13

As Zhu Lu, she passed Shrek Academy's assessment and joined the Outer Court Elite Class alongside Xiao Xiao and Wang Dong'er. 47 She later joined Gu Yuan's group on a trip to Treasure Pavilion and received his cultivation advice concerning Twin Martial Souls. 66

Gu Yuan healed her dislocated wrist before arranging a seven-person expedition to obtain her second soul ring. After returning to the God Realm, Zhu Zhuqing found herself imprisoned within the War God Hall by a God King-level restriction.
