She initially tries to surrender the artifact to Liu Erlong, believing that Liu Erlong's higher cultivation makes her more deserving. Journey to Sea God Island

Xiao Wu initially receives no assessment mission from the Shroud. Jiang Liang explains that her recognition is only the first step and that the actual trials must be activated on Sea God Island. He organizes an expedition departing in five days, allowing their companions and the Skywater Academy group to pursue assessments as well. 364

During the preparations, Xiao Wu studies the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud. She then leaves with the group aboard Jiang Liang's flying swords, while Liu Erlong remains behind to manage Blue Tyrant Academy. 364

The Seven Sacred Pillar Douluo intercept the mainland visitors and suspect an invasion. At Jiang Liang's request, Xiao Wu presents the Shroud and releases its Sea God aura, causing the guardians to halt their attack. Bo Saixi arrives, permits the group to undertake the assessments, and recognizes Xiao Wu as the woman acknowledged by the Sea God. 367
