Since Shrek Academy had just been eliminated, everyone was dispirited. Ma Hongjun, the very reason for their elimination, hung his head in shame, not daring to look up or say a word.
Gu Yuena also noticed Xiao Wu, the Soft Bone Rabbit darting about among Shrek Academy's members. Gu Yuena was furious. Looking at Xiao Wu now, did she even remember her mission?

Li Pei asked, "Xiao Wu, where are you going? It's far too dangerous for a girl to go out alone."

Li Pei could only nod in reassurance and watch Xiao Wu's figure recede into the distance.
Tang San had just been about to follow her when Li Pei and Ning Rongrong joined forces to hold him back. Ning Rongrong said, "Third Brother, maybe Xiao Wu wants to go out and clear her head. We lost today's match, so she must be upset too, right?"

"Third Brother, come shopping with me." Li Pei invited Tang San as well.

That excuse was as seamless as a heavenly robe, leaving Li Pei and Ning Rongrong no choice but to agree to Tang San's request. I'll wait for you in front of the Six-Winged Angel statue in Spirit City."
Ning Rongrong nodded excitedly. Tang San had accepted her invitation, which meant she had won the wager. Li Pei would no longer be allowed to approach him.
After everyone returned to the inn, Tang San and Ning Rongrong secretly met for a date in a corner of Spirit City.
Ning Rongrong laughed softly. "This feels like we're having a secret affair. Third Brother, there's something I want to tell you."
Seeing Ning Rongrong's flushed face, Tang San understood what she wanted to say, but he still asked, "What is it?"
"Third Brother-no, Tang San, I like you. I know my temperament isn't very good, but I've been working to change. I hope you'll consider us being together. But while you're thinking it over, could you stop associating me with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and just see me as an ordinary girl?"
Impossible. That was Tang San's first thought. Ning Rongrong's name was inextricably tied to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Moreover, as the sect's youngest prodigy and Ning Fengzhi's daughter, she would undoubtedly become its next sect master.
But Tang San still said gently, "I'll think about it, Rongrong."

After leaving Shrek Academy's group, Xiao Wu immediately concealed herself and headed straight toward Gu Yuena's location.
A short while later, Gu Yuena and Xiao Wu met next door to Shangguan Li and Shaohua.
Upon seeing Gu Yuena, Xiao Wu immediately dropped to both knees and said respectfully, "Xiao Wu of the Soft Bone Rabbit Clan pays her respects, my lady."
"Soft Bone Rabbit, you seem to be enjoying life in the human world. Have you forgotten your mission?" Gu Yuena's voice was nothing like the gentle tone she used with Shangguan Li. Now, it was ice-cold-so cold that Xiao Wu froze upon hearing it, her entire body stiff and unable to move.
Xiao Wu said tremblingly, "Xiao Wu of the Soft Bone Rabbit Clan would never dare forget her mission. Please give me another chance, my lady."
"There's no need anymore. I've already found Lord Dragon God's treasure."
Hearing this, Xiao Wu had just breathed a sigh of relief when Gu Yuena continued, "Although you no longer need to carry out your mission, surely you haven't forgotten that you are a soul beast? You actually allowed yourself to sink into the human world. Even ten thousand deaths would not atone for your crime."
