Background
Li Pei was originally a construction laborer who became intensely devoted to Douluo Continent during a difficult period of her life. She regarded Tang San as the only character truly worthy of admiration and resented much of the original protagonist group, particularly Xiao Wu. After selecting Douluo Continent in an online transmigration questionnaire, she awakened in the body of a two-year-old girl. 297
Her new parents noticed that she no longer behaved like their daughter, having overheard her speak of being a transmigrator and profess affection for “Third Brother.” Although they continued caring for her, Li Pei viewed them only as the parents of her current body and neglected their concern. 297
At her martial-soul awakening, Li Pei manifested a Vine Spirit with level-four Soul Power. She obtained a work-study place at Nuoding Academy and eagerly enrolled after learning Tang San was there. Her immediate aim was to get close to him, cultivate alongside him, and remove Xiao Wu from his life. 297

She is calculating and image-conscious. Li Pei hides traits Tang San might dislike while he observes her, maintains a friendly façade around Xiao Wu despite privately viewing her as a rival, and adjusts her clinginess when she notices Tang San becoming annoyed. 20 250
