Background / History

Old Saldean and his wife, Thelma, own Saldean Farm in Westfall, one of the region's remaining safe havens amid attacks by murlocs, gnolls, and Defias bandits. Following their son's death in war, they took in numerous homeless people, wanderers, and children; the original Shawn was among the orphans they sheltered. 1

He inherited the farm's Harvest Golems from his father. Their exact origin is unknown, though they are believed to be gnomish creations. Saldean's ability to maintain these machines provides the farm with a major deterrent against hostile vagrants and local threats. 7
