The Calm Period and Journey to the God of Destruction Realm

Ever since the great battle between Ye Ming and Beerus, peace had been restored, and they were currently feasting in Bulma's courtyard.

All the destroyed planets had been restored, and the universe had returned to tranquility.

Having eaten his fill, Beerus smiled and said, "Ye Ming, let's have another match when we have the chance."

Ye Ming was about to agree, but at that moment, Whis interjected, "If the universe faces destruction again next time, I will not step in to save it."

Hearing this, Ye Ming could only scratch his head and say, "Lord Beerus, there is nothing to be done about it. Our strength is too great; once we clash, it will cause the destruction of this universe."

Ye Ming nodded at Whis's words and said, "Don't worry, Mr. Whis, I will be cautious! If I stay in the God of Destruction Realm, they won't be able to lay a hand on me, right?"

Hearing this, Whis nodded, and Beerus said with an imposing air, "If those fellows dare to be thick-skinned enough to make a move on you, then once they arrive, they won't be leaving. Hmph."

"In this universe, I am the God of Destruction. Daring to strike at you is a provocation to my majesty; they have no right to interfere."

Only then did Ye Ming realize that Beerus was also a generous and righteous god, at least within certain principles.

At this moment, Whis's staff suddenly lit up. Whis glanced at the staff and said, "It is a message from my sister."

Champa immediately added, "In five months, I will come to find you, Skinny. I hope you won't be scared; I have a surprise for you, hee hee."

After his taunt, Champa immediately shut off the staff, not giving Beerus a chance to retort.

"Who was that just now?" Ye Ming asked, pretending not to know.

Whis quickly said, "He is the God of Destruction of Universe 6, Lord Beerus's twin brother—Champa."

At this, Son Goku suddenly popped up: "Universe 6? Then which universe is ours?"

Vegeta walked over as well, clearly very interested.

Whis smiled at them and pointed with his staff: "Our universe is Universe 7, and Lord Champa is the God of Destruction of Universe 6, managing Universe 6. There are 12 universes in total."

"Universes 1 and 12, 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 6 and 7, 8 and 9, 10 and 11—every two universes are twin universes."

"Every universe has a God of Destruction, but our Lord Beerus is the strongest existence among all 12 universes."

Upon hearing this, Gohan stood up at once and ran quickly toward Bulma's courtyard, where he saw the strongest Saiyan—Ye Ming.

He straightened his clothes, walked up to Ye Ming with a serious expression, and said: "Mr. Ye Ming, you were looking for me?"

"Yes, Gohan! There are some things I want to say to you," Ye Ming said with a smile.

He then continued: "You were once one of the strongest Saiyans, but look at you now—so weak, and carrying the air of a scholar."

Gohan lowered his head in shame at Ye Ming's words. Ye Ming continued: "You likely slacked off on your training because you had your father or Uncle Vegeta standing at the front. You are wasting your own talent."

"When a real crisis descends, you will have no one to rely on. You will only be able to rely on yourself."

"Only when your loved ones fall into crisis, or you yourself are in danger, will you understand why you didn't strive to become stronger back then."

Ye Ming spoke to Gohan in a stern tone.

By this time, Gohan's eyes were already brimming with tears; he had already understood this truth when he watched Ye Ming fight Beerus.

Seeing Gohan's expression, he patted him on the shoulder: "It is not too late to train hard now. You can become stronger and surpass your previous peak. With your potential, I believe you can reach your father's height, or even surpass him."

Son Gohan looked at the powerful Mr. Ye Ming before him, and suddenly felt filled with hope.

Gohan suddenly knelt before Ye Ming, which startled him, and he quickly pulled him to his feet.

In reality, Son Goku knew who the real culprit was—his wife, Chi-Chi. She had always opposed Son Gohan training, which is why he was so weak today!

Ye Ming said softly to Gohan: "You can come with me to the God of Destruction Realm to train. I believe Lord Beerus will agree."

Seeing Son Gohan regain his spirit, Ye Ming was very pleased. Vegeta glanced at Son Gohan, then walked away silently. Goku was also happy that his son had found his drive again.

Beerus also agreed to let Son Gohan go to the God of Destruction Realm, and the matter was settled.

Soon, Vegeta and Son Goku packed their bags, carrying a large load of delicious food—all things that Beerus and Whis loved to eat.

Son Goku had already cleared it with Chi-Chi that he and Son Gohan would go to the God of Destruction Realm to train.

Chi-Chi also knew she had been wrong in the past, and she understood that her husband and son were training to protect the Earth, so she could only bid farewell to Son Goku and her son Son Gohan with teary eyes.

And so, Ye Ming, Vegeta, and Son Goku set off on the path to the God of Destruction Realm.

Note: Ye Ming did not reveal the method to transform into a Super Saiyan God, simply because Son Goku and Vegeta would later master the Super Saiyan Blue transformation, making the Super Saiyan God transformation easy to achieve. There was no need, and besides, Super Saiyan God is not all that strong!
