Ye Ming and the others soon arrived in the God of Destruction Realm. As expected, the building looked exactly like it did in the anime, Ye Ming thought.
Suddenly, a fish came flying over at high speed. It addressed everyone lazily. "Whis, are there really this many guests today?"
Whis introduced it to everyone. "This is the Oracle Fish. It's lived in the God of Destruction Realm for a long time. It's quite mischievous, so it's best not to provoke it."
The Oracle Fish had been looking at everyone excitedly, but when it heard Whis's introduction, its face darkened. In a flash, it vanished from sight.
By now, Lord Beerus had returned to his bedroom and fallen fast asleep.
The scene shifted. Ye Ming, Vegeta, Son Goku, and Son Gohan stood in a row.
Ye Ming looked calm, while the other three gazed at Whis with shining eyes. Even Whis couldn't help feeling a little embarrassed.
Whis cleared his throat. "Aside from training, you have some extra tasks."
"There's a large patch of weeds behind you. You'll clear it once a week. You'll also change Lord Beerus's bedding once a day. Only then can you train."
Vegeta was unhappy, but he held it in. After all, he was willing to do anything for the sake of training.
Son Goku scratched his head. "We have to do chores, too? What a pain!" As soon as he finished speaking, Vegeta smacked him hard across the face.
Gohan remained silent and didn't object.
Whis turned to Ye Ming. "Ye Ming doesn't need to do these chores. You only need to follow the training schedule I set for you each day."
No one had any objections. After all, Ye Ming was the strongest among them.
Ye Ming nodded, feeling quite pleased. This was practically VIP service!
And so they divided up the work. Vegeta and the other two got started right away. The sooner they finished, the sooner they could train!
Day after day, their mundane chores and training routine began.
Whis's training for Ye Ming consisted of sparring with him. He knew Ye Ming had a remarkable talent for training, had already gained an initial grasp of Ultra Instinct, and had reached the uppermost level of a God of Destruction's power. Ordinary training wouldn't have any effect on him.
During this time, Ye Ming fought Whis dozens of times, but couldn't even touch his shoulder. He had wanted to try using his full strength, but Whis stopped him.
Whis told Ye Ming, "You can only use Ultra Instinct. If you want to perfect your Ultra Instinct, you must follow this method of training."
Whis had already shared everything he knew about Ultra Instinct with Ye Ming, holding nothing back. How much Ye Ming could grasp, though, was up to him.
And so Ye Ming trained with Whis for nearly five months.
One night, Ye Ming sat alone beneath the moonlight. He calmed his mind and focused on the changes within his Ultra Instinct as multicolored light gradually rose around him.
Suddenly, silver light blazed in Ye Ming's eyes. He had entered the form of Mastered Ultra Instinct for the first time. A flash of light passed over him, and his hair turned silver-white, while a divine glow shone in his eyes.
Everyone in the God of Destruction Realm heard the commotion and hurried to where Ye Ming was training. They stared in astonishment at his form—it was like looking at a god.
Whis was astonished as well. After only five months of training, Ye Ming had already taken his first steps into Mastered Ultra Instinct. His potential was truly limitless.
Although Son Goku and Vegeta had also mastered Super Saiyan Blue during these five months, their progress paled in comparison to Ye Ming's.
Whis trained Son Gohan separately. Gohan had gone a long time without training, and if he had trained alongside Vegeta and the others, the gap in their strength would have been too great. So Whis taught him on his own.
The results of the training were clearly impressive. Son Gohan had also mastered Godly Ki and gained the power to transform into Super Saiyan Blue.
Of course, the one who had made the most progress besides Ye Ming was undoubtedly Son Gohan. He had been neglecting his training before, but now he had returned to his peak, and his strength far surpassed what it had been.

Suddenly, Ye Ming ended his Ultra Instinct transformation. He had successfully mastered Mastered Ultra Instinct, and he felt overjoyed!
He looked at everyone and said, "Looks like everyone's gotten stronger pretty quickly. You're all much stronger than before."
Vegeta spoke up proudly. "Of course! I've always trained hard and never slacked off. I've even perfected Super Saiyan Blue. It won't be long before I master Hakai Energy, too!"
Ye Ming could tell that the once-arrogant Vegeta had regained his confidence. That was a good thing.
Son Gohan addressed Ye Ming politely. "Mr. Ye Ming, we've trained hard during this time, and we've made a lot of progress. You've also mastered Ultra Instinct. I can feel that your strength has reached a truly terrifying level."
Son Goku said, "We could spar and see how much stronger we've gotten during this time."
Ye Ming smiled. "That's a good idea. I'd like to see how much progress you've made over these five months."
The three of them had sparred with one another before and knew each other's abilities fairly well, but they also wanted to find out how strong Ye Ming was now.
Just then, Beerus came out wearing his pajamas, muttering irritably, "Why are you still up so late? What are you doing? That commotion just now was you, Ye Ming, wasn't it? Looks like you've taken your first steps toward mastering Ultra Instinct. Your strength has improved a lot!"
Beerus narrowed his eyes and scrutinized Ye Ming. He could feel the pressure, too.
Beerus addressed everyone. "It's late. Go to bed, and don't disturb my sleep. Otherwise, I'll destroy every one of you."
In truth, Beerus felt a sense of urgency. He wanted to get stronger, especially since he felt that Ye Ming had already surpassed him.
Whis noticed the little thoughts in Beerus's mind and said, "Get some rest. You can spar tomorrow."
By then, Beerus had already returned to his bedroom. Suddenly, Whis appeared beside him and said, "Lord Beerus, you seem troubled. Don't tell me Ye Ming's gotten to you?"
Beerus didn't feel like arguing this time. He was the strongest God of Destruction among the twelve universes, yet a mortal had surpassed him. Ye Ming might barely count as a demigod now, but Beerus still couldn't save face.
Suddenly, Beerus stood up and said, "Whis, I'm going deep into Destruction Space to train. Don't disturb me."
Seeing Beerus's high spirits, Whis looked dazed. It had been a long time since he'd seen Lord Beerus take things so seriously.
Whis smiled at Beerus. "Lord Beerus, you're sure to gain a lot this time. You'll definitely be much stronger than before."
Beerus didn't respond. With determined steps, he headed deeper into Destruction Space.
Whis thought, It seems Lord Beerus feels the pressure, too. Ever since Ye Ming came to our universe, our universe's overall strength has steadily risen. Even Lord Beerus has to train hard now.
Whis had no doubt about Lord Beerus's talent. After all, he had trained him himself. If Lord Beerus weren't so lazy, he would have reached an Angel's level long ago.
Whis looked up at the sky and murmured, "Ye Ming, ever since you came to our universe, it seems to have changed greatly. These changes are for the better. Perhaps Universe 7 will exist forever."
