The Battle Between Vegito and "Vegito"

Seeing Vegito across from him, watching him with fighting spirit, Ye Ming saw Vegito wearing that same invincible, self-assured look again.

Vegito said proudly, "Ye Ming, in this form, my strength isn't simply one plus one equals two! Get ready."

Ye Ming knew full well how powerful Vegito was. In the original story, he had also known Vegito to be the strongest fused warrior in the universe.

Even when Vegito fought Fused Zamasu in the original story, Ye Ming had wondered whether the author had weakened him. It had felt as though Vegito's true power hadn't been shown.

But now, facing Vegito, Ye Ming felt that his base-form strength was only slightly greater than Vegito's.

Ye Ming had Vegito's body, after all, and it had even been enhanced by the system. Yet he was still only a little stronger than this universe's Vegito.

So the anime really does have its tricks, Ye Ming thought.

Suddenly, Vegito let out a furious shout and revealed the power of Super Saiyan First Stage Full Power. His terrifying aura spread out, making even the Realm of the Gods tremble.

Vegito stared intently at Ye Ming. Even after transforming into Super Saiyan First Stage Full Power, he could tell he still wasn't a match for Ye Ming in his Super Saiyan Ye Ming form.

But Vegito wanted to fight Ye Ming to his heart's content, win or lose!

Vegito launched a full-force attack at Ye Ming. Ye Ming quickly took up a fighting stance and prepared to meet his attack.

Vegito and Ye Ming clashed with all their might, then recoiled from each other. It was clear Vegito hadn't gained the upper hand.

Suddenly, Vegito used Instant Transmission to appear behind Ye Ming and throw a punch!

Ye Ming hurriedly dodged, but a few strands of his hair were still clipped off. He was gauging Vegito's strength.

"Vegito is powerful— even more powerful than he was portrayed in the original story!" Ye Ming thought.

Suddenly, the sky seemed to burst open. Vegito and Ye Ming fought in midair, exchanging more than a hundred blows.

Dark clouds gathered over the Realm of the Gods. Lightning flashed and thunder rolled. Even though the realm was sturdy, it suddenly began to crumble apart.

Shin gripped the Old Ancestor's arm tightly. "If they keep fighting like this, the Realm of the Gods might be destroyed!"

Old Kai said, "This battle can't be stopped now. They've met a powerful opponent, and both want to fight to their hearts' content. All we can do is wait for the result!"

Old Kai added, "The Realm of the Gods can be restored. To be honest, I want to see which of them wins, too."

Back on the battlefield, Vegito and Ye Ming continued their fierce attacks. Even Ye Ming's clothes were somewhat tattered.

Vegito was powerful, and his battle experience surpassed Ye Ming's.

Vegito seemed to see what Ye Ming was thinking. "Ye Ming, let's finish this quickly! Let's show each other our true strength."

With that, Vegito's aura flared. A flash of lightning streaked past, and he transformed into Super Saiyan Second Stage.

But he wasn't finished. An even more terrifying aura spread out, and a flash of golden light heralded the arrival of Super Saiyan Third Stage Vegito.

He could change forms in the blink of an eye.

Vegito's power reached all the way into space. The universe's inhabitants trembled in fear before this overwhelming force, and countless planets shook violently.

What they didn't know was that on a distant planet, a god had sensed their energy.

His hair was white, and he held a staff. From a distance, he looked like an ordinary man.

But he was a god—Angel Whis, servant to the God of Destruction and also his teacher.

He had sensed the energy coming from a distant planet. Clearly, this power had reached a level approaching that of a God of Destruction.

"I didn't expect our universe to have such powerful warriors. How wonderful!" Whis murmured.

As he spoke, he waved his staff, and an image of the battle taking place in the distant Realm of the Gods appeared inside it.

He saw Vegito's Super Saiyan Third Stage power and felt a flicker of surprise.

"A fused warrior? How fascinating!" Whis said with a smile.

But the one who interested Whis even more was the person facing the fused warrior.

He couldn't retrieve any information about Ye Ming from his staff. All it revealed was that Ye Ming was a powerful Saiyan.

Whis was astonished. He knew his staff could reveal all the information about the beings in the universe, as well as their past and future.

But the staff showed no past for Ye Ming, as though it were a blank page.

Suddenly, the Grand Priest's words appeared in Whis's mind: "Whis, there's no need to disturb him. Just carry out your duties."

Whis was startled when he heard the Grand Priest's message, but soon relaxed.

Since the Grand Priest said there was no problem, there was no need for him to pay any further attention to it.

Still, Whis was very interested in Ye Ming. He wanted to see how the battle would end!

Back on the battlefield, Ye Ming looked at Vegito's terrifying figure and felt his own fighting spirit rise.

Ye Ming suddenly roared, bringing out his Super Saiyan Second Stage Full Power form!

After a flash of lightning and a peal of thunder, Ye Ming successfully transformed into Super Saiyan Second Stage.

Vegito looked at Ye Ming's transformation and smiled. "You've gotten a lot stronger. Let's keep going!"

As he spoke, Vegito and Ye Ming rose into the air and fought at incredible speed.

They traded blows evenly, while the Realm of the Gods rapidly crumbled beneath the shock waves of their power.

Their fighting strength soared as the battle continued, and the universe trembled.

Watching through his staff, Whis observed, "Vegito and that Saiyan warrior named Ye Ming are both very powerful, but they're still within the limits of mortals." He stroked his chin.

"Once Lord Beerus wakes up, it seems he'll have some worthy opponents. Should I bring them to the God of Destruction Realm to train?"

"Never mind. I'll wait until Lord Beerus wakes up before deciding." Whis said.

Whis shifted his gaze back to the battlefield in the Realm of the Gods, where the two figures clashed.

By now, both Vegito and Ye Ming had suffered a few injuries.

Vegito pursed his lips and said, "Ye Ming, you really are strong. I've already used all my strength, but I still can't defeat you—not even gain the upper hand."

Ye Ming replied gravely, "You're strong too, Vegito. This is the first time I've felt so much pressure in a fight against you!"

But they both knew that if they kept fighting, one of them would eventually win.

Vegito unleashed his potential once more. His aura suddenly flared, and amid flashes of lightning and peals of thunder, his strength rose another level.

Ye Ming raised both arms to withstand Vegito's aura and marveled, "As expected, this universe's Vegito is far stronger than the one in the original story. The old saying is right—anime really does lie."

Vegito attacked first, and Ye Ming quickly dodged to block him.

BOOM!!!

Vegito used Prince Tactics, trapping Ye Ming on a small rocky hill and pelting the area around him—and Ye Ming himself—with Ki Blasts.

But Ye Ming knew it was a feint. Sure enough, Vegito suddenly burst out of the smoke.

His punch struck Ye Ming in the stomach, and Ye Ming suddenly spat up bile.

I didn't expect it to hurt this much to take a direct hit, Ye Ming thought.

Suddenly, Ye Ming's aura flared. Vegito was forced back again and again by the force of it. Ye Ming was going to use one hundred percent of his strength.

Vegito's lips curled slightly. As expected, Ye Ming hadn't been using his full strength before.

BOOM!!!

Ye Ming attacked first, appearing behind Vegito in a flash.

His punch slammed into Vegito's back and sent him flying, but Ye Ming gave him no time to catch his breath, pressing his attack without pause.

Vegito felt the pressure of Ye Ming's assault and suddenly flared his aura, meeting him head-on.

As the battle went on, the ground of the Realm of the Gods suddenly cracked apart. Dark clouds covered the sky, and countless bolts of lightning flashed.

About a minute later, Vegito and Ye Ming were both panting, standing rigidly atop the rocks. Neither let up; they kept their eyes fixed on each other.

Suddenly, Ye Ming saw Vegito take the Kamehameha stance and thought, He's planning to end this battle with that move.

He took the same stance. Both gathered terrifying amounts of energy, and the Realm of the Gods trembled violently, along with the surrounding planets. (To clarify, Goku taught Ye Ming the Kamehameha during those three days.)

They gathered energy for only a few seconds before both shouted, "Kamehameha!"

BOOM!!!

Their tremendous energy blasts collided, and both continued to pour in more power.

Neither side gained the upper hand. The two blasts were locked in a stalemate!

I can't keep this up. I have to end the battle quickly! Ye Ming thought.

Ye Ming suddenly asked the system, "Can I use Kaioken while in Super Saiyan Second Stage?"

The system replied, "Of course. Kaioken won't tear your body apart, but your stamina will rapidly deplete. It has no side effects on your body."

Hearing this, Ye Ming grinned.

Then he suddenly called out, "Kaioken!" A terrifying aura spread from him, multiplying his strength several times over. A red glow appeared around him.

As long as he had enough stamina, he could use Kaioken at several times its normal level, and it wouldn't have any side effects on his body.

Vegito was shocked when he heard him. "Kaioken?"

Before Vegito could react, his Kamehameha had already fallen into a disadvantage.

But Vegito hadn't mastered stacking Kaioken on top of his Super Saiyan form. He knew it was a move that could injure the enemy by a thousand while costing him eight hundred himself.

Soon, Ye Ming's Kamehameha reached Vegito. Vegito knew he had lost the battle.

BOOM!

The Kamehameha exploded around Vegito, devastating the surrounding Realm of the Gods.

Ye Ming knew he had poured in a little too much power. He rushed into the smoke to look for Vegito.

Soon, he found Vegito in the smoke.

Suddenly, Vegito's figure split in two, and Vegeta and Son Goku appeared amid the smoke.

They struggled to their feet, looking utterly battered. It was clear that they had run out of stamina.

The battle had ended at last, with Ye Ming victorious.

They staggered over to Ye Ming and said, "We lost again. You're incredible! We don't know how long we'll have to train before we can catch up with you!"

Ye Ming suddenly took out Senzu Beans and popped them into their mouths. Laughing, he said, "It's fine. We'll improve together. I'll be living on Earth from now on, so we can spar whenever we want."

By then, Vegeta had also put aside his pride. Even the fused warrior Vegito had lost. How could he summon the courage to challenge Ye Ming alone? The gap between them was obvious.

Far away in the Realm of the Gods, Whis had watched the entire battle and seen its outcome.

"It seems this young man named Ye Ming really is something. But Son Goku and Vegeta aren't bad either. They just happened to face an opponent who was too strong!" Whis said with interest.

When Lord Beerus wakes up, I'll tell him about this. He'll surely be interested, Whis thought.

Whis knew that the young man named Ye Ming had great potential and had even attracted the Grand Priest's attention. If a god trained him, his strength might improve by leaps and bounds.

However, Whis knew the time wasn't right yet. The Grand Priest had said not to pay attention to this matter, which meant the time had not yet come.

With that, everything returned to normal.
