"A culinary duel?"

Vegeta's mouth twitched violently.

"I ask you two Gods of Destruction, can you not do something productive for once?"

"A competition based on food? Isn't that just too boring?"

He had originally expected some earth-shattering clash, but it turned out to be a contest of eating, which left Vegeta, who only cared about getting stronger, looking utterly disgusted.

Son Goku, on the other hand, had his eyes light up instantly. He rubbed his round belly, leaned toward the stone table, and stared at the machine with an expectant look:

"Food? What kind of delicious treat is it?"

"Is it tastier than Earth's barbecue?"

Seeing Beerus's gaze firmly fixed on the machine, Champa's expression grew even more smug. He waved a hand at Vados:

"Vados, open it up. Let Beerus get a good look at what real, top-tier cosmic cuisine is!"

Vados nodded and tapped a button on the side of the machine with her finger.

With a soft click, the machine's lid popped open automatically, revealing several items neatly arranged inside—they were emerald-green eggs, their shells shimmering with a faint luster, looking like the eggs of some rare bird.

"Aren't these just regular eggs?"

Son Goku leaned in closer and scratched his head, a trace of disappointment on his face.

"I thought it would be some special delicacy. I've eaten plenty of eggs; Earth's tea eggs and boiled eggs are pretty tasty too."

"Regular eggs? What do you know!"

Champa glared at Son Goku immediately, his tone filled with pride.

"These are the Dongdong Bird boiled eggs, unique to our Universe 6!"

"The Dongdong Bird is the rarest creature in Universe 6. Their eggs are not only packed with incredibly rich nutrients—eating one is worth ten to fifteen days of your training—but the flavor is absolutely one of a kind!"

Vados waved her staff, and several soft beams of light flashed, delivering the Dongdong Bird boiled eggs from the machine into everyone's hands.

"Everyone, please have a taste. This is indeed a rare delicacy from Universe 6."

Son Goku couldn't wait any longer. Once he had the egg, he cracked it open with his hands, the shell peeling away with a snap.

The egg white inside was a pale green, steaming slightly, and a fresh, fragrant aroma wafted toward him.

He took a huge bite without hesitation, chewed a few times, and his eyes went wide:

"Wow! Delicious!"

"It's much more fragrant than a regular boiled egg, and the texture is incredibly tender and smooth!"

Son Gohan also slowly peeled his egg and took a small bite, a satisfied smile appearing on his face:

"It really is quite good. The flavor is very fresh, and I feel much lighter after eating it."

Vegeta frowned, peeled one reluctantly, and took a small bite.

He savored it carefully, but his brow furrowed even deeper:

"It's just alright. Compared to Earth's chicken eggs, it's not that much better."

"Champa, was it really necessary to make such a big fuss?"

Champa ignored Vegeta's snarky comment entirely. Seeing Son Goku and Son Gohan praising the food, he stood up triumphantly, hands on his hips:

"How about it, Beerus?"

"My Dongdong Bird boiled eggs taste pretty good, right?"

"Now you have to admit that the food in Universe 6 is better than in Universe 7, don't you?"

"I declare that I have won this culinary competition!"

Beerus peeled his egg slowly, eating it bite by bite with an expressionless face.

Only after finishing the last bite did he look up at Champa and say calmly:

"What's the rush? The competition isn't over yet."

"Whis, bring out the item I had you put away the other day."

"Very well, Lord Beerus."

Whis smiled faintly, waved his hand, and an exquisite glass plate appeared out of thin air on the stone table.

The plate held a dozen colorful jellies—red, yellow, blue—looking crystal clear, like a collection of colorful gemstones.

"What is this stuff?"

Champa leaned in curiously, squinting as he examined the jellies.

"It looks all gooey, like frozen slime. Is this even edible?"

Vados also looked puzzled. Having lived for so long and traveled to every corner of Universe 6, she had never seen such food before.

"This is Earth's jelly."

Beerus curled his lips into a confident smile.

"Bulma sent this to me a few days ago, specifically saying it's a type of dessert that's been very popular on Earth lately."

"Champa, didn't you say the food in Universe 6 was the best? Try this before you jump to conclusions."

Champa curled his lip, looking utterly unimpressed as he said:

"Dessert? I have no interest in the kind of things children eat."

"But since it's your chosen category for the competition, I suppose I'll try it, just this once."

He picked up a red jelly, hesitated for a moment, and then popped it into his mouth.

The next second, Champa's eyes widened instantly.

The jelly was cool upon entry, carrying a rich strawberry aroma with a bouncy, smooth texture; the sweet flavor exploded on his tongue, yet it didn't feel cloying in the slightest.

That unique sensation was something he had never experienced before!

"This... this flavor!"

Champa couldn't help but let out a gasp of amazement. No longer caring about his disdain, he grabbed the jellies from the plate and shoved them into his mouth.

"Delicious! This is too delicious!"

Vados also picked up a blue jelly to taste, a flash of surprise crossing her eyes:

"The flavor is indeed quite good; it's sweet and cool, and the texture is very unique. I didn't expect Universe 7 to have such delicacies."

In the blink of an eye, the jellies on the plate had been completely devoured by Champa.

He even stuck out his tongue to lick the plate clean of the remaining juices, leaving absolutely nothing behind.

Beerus watched Champa's disheveled appearance, the smile on his face deepening:

"How about it, Champa?"

"Earth's jelly is much better than your boiled Dongdong Bird eggs, isn't it?"

Champa finally realized how unsightly his eating habits had just been; his cheeks flushed a deep red, and he grew so embarrassed he nearly broke into a cold sweat.

He stiffened his neck, stubbornly retorting:

"Go... good? What's so good about it!"

"It's just average, it's nowhere near as good as my boiled Dongdong Bird eggs!"

"I only ate a few extra bites because I found it novel."

"Oh? Is that so?"

Beerus pointed at the plate, which had been licked until it shone, and said with a mocking smile:

"Then why did you lick the plate clean?"

"Is the God of Destruction of Universe 6 usually this frugal?"

"You!"

Champa was choked for words, unable to think of a rebuttal.

He knew very well in his heart that the taste of the jelly was far superior to his boiled Dongdong Bird eggs; he had effectively already lost the competition.

After a few seconds of silence, Champa suddenly looked at Beerus, his eyes filled with a hint of urgency:

"Beerus, you said this jelly was a delicacy from Earth?"

"That's right."

Beerus nodded.

"Earth is a Gourmet Planet in every sense of the word. A delicacy like jelly is just the tip of the iceberg."

"Hot pot, barbecue, ramen, cake... there are many more foods you can't even imagine, and they all taste far better than your boiled Dongdong Bird eggs."

Champa's eyes grew brighter the more he listened. The embarrassment on his face had vanished without a trace, replaced by intense longing:

"There are actually that many delicious things?"

"No, I must go to Earth and try them!"

He turned his head abruptly toward Vados and urged:

"Vados! Quickly! Help me find the Earth in Universe 6!"

"Our Universe 6 and Universe 7 exist as a pair. Since you have an Earth here, we must have one there too!"

"I'm going to the Earth of Universe 6 to find food even better than this jelly!"

Vados nodded and waved her staff, projecting a beam of light into the air to form a massive cosmic star map.

Her gaze swept rapidly across the map, searching for the planet corresponding to the Earth of Universe 7.

Before long, Vados's gaze stopped at a corner of the star map, and a complex expression appeared on her face.

She sighed softly and lowered her staff.
