Madara's Conspiracy, Itachi and Obito's Undercurrents

The barrier in the secret chamber of the Konoha Medical Department lit up once more. Nagato sat propped up on his hospital bed; though his face was pale, his eyes were exceptionally clear. When Su Ye pushed the door open, Jiraiya was sitting by the bedside, holding the old scroll he had used to teach the three of them years ago, his eyes rimmed with red. Tsunade stood in the corner with medical ninja tools scattered nearby, clearly having just finished examining Nagato.

"Su Ye, you've come." Nagato's voice was hoarse, his gaze resting on the Rinne Sharingan. "The chakra within you is very similar to Madara's, yet it is fundamentally different." He took a deep breath and began to speak slowly, laying bare the secrets buried for years.

It turned out that when Obito had approached him years ago, he had displayed a stone statue of Madara and lied, claiming to be Madara's proxy. Using "achieving world peace" as bait, he had manipulated Nagato into forming the Akatsuki. It wasn't until six months ago, when Obito accidentally exposed part of his plan while attempting to capture Isobu, that the truth emerged: the so-called Eye of the Moon Plan was never about creating peace, but rather using the Infinite Tsukuyomi to trap everyone in an illusion, allowing Madara to control the entire world.

"He also mentioned the true purpose of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path." Nagato clenched his fists until his knuckles turned white. "The statue is not merely a weapon; it is the husk of the Ten-Tails. Obito has been collecting the Tailed Beasts specifically to resurrect the Ten-Tails and make Madara its jinchuriki."

Su Ye's pupils constricted, his Rinne Sharingan spinning involuntarily as fragments of memories he had seen earlier flashed through his mind—on the list of jinchuriki Obito had handed to Nagato, besides the Five-Tails, there was another name crossed out: Uchiha Itachi. "Why was Itachi's name on that list?" he pressed.

Nagato gave a bitter laugh. "Obito feared Itachi's Sharingan and tried to eliminate him multiple times, but Itachi always kept him at bay using the rules of the Akatsuki. I once overheard their conversation; it seems Itachi was searching for something related to the 'Truth of the Uchiha Clan Massacre'."

No sooner had he finished speaking than Jiraiya stood up abruptly, causing his scroll to fall to the floor. "The truth of the massacre? Could it be that there was a hidden motive behind Itachi's actions back then?"

Just then, the window of the secret chamber was blown open by a sudden gust of wind. A black slip of paper drifted to the ground, manifesting into the phantom image of Obito. "Nagato, you shouldn't have said so much." Obito's voice was cold. "It seems you are no longer of any use." The phantom raised a hand, and a surge of black chakra lashed out toward Nagato.

Su Ye reacted with lightning speed, instantly activating Heavenly Hand Power to shift Nagato behind him while simultaneously releasing Rinne chakra to collide with the black energy. "Obito, you've finally decided to show your face." Su Ye sneered, his Rinne Sharingan locking onto the phantom. "Do you really think the Eye of the Moon Plan will succeed?"

Obito's phantom let out a mocking laugh. "Do you think stopping Kisame will change anything? Itachi has already gone to the old Uchiha grounds. He will soon learn that the truth of the massacre is far more cruel than he ever imagined." The phantom gradually dissipated, leaving behind only one chilling sentence: "The game has only just begun."

Jiraiya picked up the scroll from the floor, his expression resolute. "I am going to the old Uchiha grounds to find Itachi and uncover the truth of the massacre." Tsunade frowned. "It is too dangerous for you to go alone; the Akatsuki must have set an ambush there."

Su Ye shook his head, his gaze fixed outside the window. "No need, I will go." His Rinne Sharingan grew slightly warm, allowing him to sense a familiar chakra in the distance—it was Itachi's Sharingan, racing toward the old Uchiha grounds. "You stay here and protect Nagato; the secrets he knows are vital to us."

Su Ye turned and left. Just as he stepped out of the medical department, he saw Naruto running over in a hurry, holding a note in his hand. "Su Ye, Kakashi-sensei received word that Itachi has encountered an Akatsuki ambush at the old Uchiha grounds—it's Kisame's accomplices!"

Su Ye's heart tightened, and he immediately activated the Body Flicker Technique, speeding toward the old Uchiha grounds. He knew that this gamble surrounding the "truth" had reached a critical moment, and Itachi's choice would determine the direction of the Akatsuki, and indeed, the entire ninja world.

Meanwhile, in the shrine at the old Uchiha grounds, Itachi stood with a kunai in hand, confronting three masked members of the Akatsuki. Deep within the shrine, a dust-covered stone tablet was emitting a faint glow; the text inscribed upon it was the very truth of the massacre that Itachi had been desperately seeking.
