History

Awakening and Survival

Qiuyang's predecessor awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan during the Uchiha clan massacre after witnessing the deaths of his family. The newly awakened eyes briefly caught Obito off guard, but Obito overpowered him with Kamui and intended to claim the Mangekyo for himself. 1

Qiuyang transmigrated into the dying body during Obito's hesitation. He activated the left eye's God-Meeting Machine to obtain teleportation flags and escape, though the effort left him injured and nearly blind from ocular-power depletion. 1 2

Return to Konoha

After recovering, Qiuyang entered Konoha disguised as a war refugee and initially concealed both his Uchiha identity and Sharingan. He used the three-tomoe eye to rapidly memorize the Scroll of Sealing, including forbidden techniques, clan arts, and incomplete Uzumaki sealing knowledge. 2 3

Qiuyang later stopped hiding the Sharingan after becoming Jiraiya's student. Its ability to analyze and copy Jiraiya's Rasengan helped him reproduce the technique during their bell challenge. 6 7 8

Mangekyo Strain and Hashirama Cells

Repeated Mangekyo use during the conflict with Naruto's Nine-Tails transformation and the first manifestation of Susanoo damaged Qiuyang's vision. He recognized that continued use would accelerate blindness. 29 30

Qiuyang's successful fusion with Hashirama Cells substantially increased his chakra reserves and gradually restored the Mangekyo's ocular power. The cells also enabled faster recovery after using his eye techniques. 35

Appearance

The Sharingan manifests as scarlet irises with black tomoe. Qiuyang's Mangekyo form bears a distinctive Yin-Yang Bagua pattern. 1 22
