"Nawaki, do you have any pocket money left? Once I win, I'll pay you back tenfold." Tsunade asked Nawaki.
"I don't have any. I really don't have a single yen left." Nawaki turned his pockets inside out as if afraid Tsunade wouldn't believe him; they were completely empty, truly devoid of any cash.
However, Tsunade remained skeptical, suspecting that Nawaki had hidden some money away, though she lacked the evidence to prove it.
"Forget it, it seems you don't have the luck to make money, Nawaki." Tsunade shook her head, saying with a look of regret.
Nawaki looked relieved; he certainly didn't want that kind of "luck."
Afterward, Nawaki carefully leaned in toward Shin and whispered, "Remember, whatever you do, don't lend my sister any money. If you do, you'll never see it again."
Having said that, Nawaki bolted away, terrified that his sister might have overheard what he just told Shin.
"Doesn't he live with you?" Shin watched Nawaki's retreating back and asked Tsunade, puzzled.
"Nawaki lives with our grandmother. That brat hides whenever he sees me." Tsunade said with great dissatisfaction. Was she some kind of prehistoric beast that would eat people?
"That's normal. If I were your younger brother, I'd avoid you too." Shin glanced at Tsunade and said earnestly; if he didn't hide, he wouldn't be able to keep a single yen of pocket money.
Although Tsunade didn't eat people, she certainly devoured money! Shin suspected that the decline of the Senju Clan might have something to do with how much Tsunade lost gambling.
"Hey, what did you just say, brat?"
"Nothing. Kushina, let's head back."
Shin took Kushina's hand and returned to Tsunade's small courtyard. Once back, he began to study the training method for the Multi Shadow Clone Technique.
The Multi Shadow Clone Technique was quite simple, and it didn't take Shin long to master the ninjutsu.
Shin pressed his middle fingers together, crossed his hands into a cross shape, and formed the Ram seal. Instantly, dozens of Shin clones appeared in the room.
After dispelling the Multi Shadow Clone Technique, Shin stepped out of the room, told Tsunade and Kushina he was heading out, and left the courtyard to wander around the Senju Clan Grounds.
Shin wasn't just wandering aimlessly; he wanted to find a place to train. Although there was a training ground in Tsunade's courtyard, he didn't want to expose too much of his capabilities, so he preferred not to train there.
After a lap, Shin realized that while the Senju Clan Grounds were not small, there was no place suitable for his training. It seemed he would have to look elsewhere in Konoha.
However, Shin had no intention of wandering around Konoha just yet. Having just arrived, he suspected that the Third Hokage would likely be keeping them under surveillance.
It was better to wait a while before going out; for now, he would just get some rest.
There was also the matter of Shin's Copy System. He currently had three ordinary copies and one advanced copy available.
The advanced copy could replicate a vast range of things: S-rank ninjutsu, the chakra and physique of Kage-level powerhouses, and even Kekkei Genkai.
However, there were limits to copying Kekkei Genkai. If it were the Rinnegan, it certainly couldn't be copied, and even the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan was beyond reach.
The Mangekyou Sharingan, however, could be replicated using the advanced copy.
"If I awaken my Sharingan to the Mangekyou level and then copy another pair of Mangekyou Sharingan, would it evolve into an Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan?" Shin muttered to himself.
The Mangekyou Sharingan was the supreme ocular technique of the Uchiha clan, but it carried a fatal side effect: overuse led to blindness, much like a curse.
To resolve this, one had to evolve it into the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, which also allowed for the manifestation of the Complete Body Susanoo.
The only problem was that evolving into the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan required transplanting the Mangekyou Sharingan of a biological sibling.
Shin had no biological siblings, so that path was closed to him.
Therefore, he had to find another way. Relying on the system was one option, but Shin also felt that transplanting a sibling's eyes might not be the only way to evolve the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
Otherwise, where did Otsutsuki Indra get his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan? And as for the Sage of Six Paths, Otsutsuki Hagoromo, his Rinnegan wasn't innate either; it was evolved step by step.
In truth, Shin didn't need to worry. Once his Sharingan evolved into the Mangekyou Sharingan, he wouldn't need to fear blindness even if he couldn't evolve it into the Eternal version.
This was because he possessed the Perfect Sage Body. Uchiha Obito had been able to use the Mangekyou Sharingan without side effects after transplanting the cells of the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama.
Since Shin possessed the Perfect Sage Body, he had no reason to fear blindness.
Even so, Shin still wanted to find a way to evolve into the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, as he coveted its power.
A Complete Body Susanoo could basically sweep away everything in its path.
Moreover, with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan combined with his Perfect Sage Body, he could potentially evolve the Rinnegan on his own.
Just thinking about it made him excited.
But it was too early to dwell on that. Shin's Sharingan was currently only at the single-tomoe stage. He didn't know how long it would take to evolve into the Mangekyou Sharingan, and evolving it was no simple task.
When Shin returned to the small courtyard, the sky had already turned dark, so he ate dinner and went to rest.
The next day at noon, Tsunade brought the four of them—Shin, Kushina, Uzumaki Akiko, and Uzumaki Kai—to the Ninja Academy.
This Ninja Academy was actually established by the Second Hokage back in the day.
"Since the school term has already been underway for some time, you will be joining as transfer students. If you have any questions you don't understand, make sure to ask your teacher," Tsunade said to Shin and the others.
"Tanaka-sensei, I leave them in your care."
"Please rest assured, Lady Tsunade, I will certainly instruct them diligently," the teacher named Tanaka said to Tsunade.
After handing Shin and the others over to Tanaka-sensei, Tsunade left; as an elite Jonin of the village, Tsunade was very busy.
Following Tanaka-sensei, the four of them arrived at the classroom. Upon entering, Shin caught sight of Nawaki immediately.
"Huh? Shin, Kushina, you guys came to our class!" Nawaki stood up, delighted.
"Nawaki, sit down and behave yourself," Tanaka-sensei scolded Nawaki.
After being reprimanded, Nawaki sat down obediently. Even though Nawaki's status was extraordinary—being the grandson of the First Hokage—he still had to behave himself here.
"These four are new transfer students. Everyone, please welcome our new classmates," Tanaka-sensei said.
The students below all sized up Shin and the others with curious gazes. Red hair was quite rare, yet here it was appearing on four people at once.
Wait, no—including the one already in the class, that made five people with red hair.
Yes, that's right; there was another person with red hair in this class, and that was Akimichi Choza.
"Why don't you all introduce yourselves first? Let's start with you," Tanaka-sensei said, pointing at Uzumaki Shin.
Uzumaki Shin shrugged his shoulders and said, "My name is Uzumaki Shin. I like beautiful women and hate gays. That's all, introduction finished."
Tanaka-sensei's mouth twitched; this self-introduction was truly unique.
