Kushina Gets Jealous

"Uzumaki Shin, don't you think your self-introduction was a bit too brief? Wouldn't you like to talk about your dreams?"

Tanaka looked at Uzumaki Shin and asked.

"Dreams are just illusions; that's why they're called dreams. I think it's enough to just think about them in my sleep, so there's no need to say them out loud."

"Very well. Next student, please introduce yourself."

Tanaka shook his head and turned his gaze toward Kushina.

Kushina looked at the students below and felt a bit nervous, but at that moment, Shin took her hand to help her calm down.

Once held by Shin, Kushina's heart relaxed.

"My name is Uzumaki Kushina. I like Shin, I dislike Tsunade, and my dream is to always be with Shin."

Kushina gathered her courage and spoke.

After Kushina finished, the previously quiet students suddenly erupted into exclamations. Was she really that bold?

"She actually dislikes my sister." Nawaki was surprised that the person Kushina disliked was his sister, Tsunade.

"You two, find an empty spot and sit down," Tanaka said to Shin and Kushina.

Shin looked around and noticed the empty seats were all in the back, so he pulled Kushina along to the rear of the room.

Next were the self-introductions of Uzumaki Akiko and Uzumaki Kai. Uzumaki Akiko's introduction was plain and ordinary; she seemed like a soft and fragile little girl.

However, as for Uzumaki Kai's introduction, he only coldly stated his name, giving off the impression that he was a difficult person to get along with.

"They're all named Uzumaki, and they all have the same red hair. Are they all from the same clan?"

A guy with a pineapple hairstyle looked at them with dead fish eyes.

"Shikaku, you actually woke up? That's quite a feat."

Yamanaka Inoichi, who was sitting next to Nara Shikaku, said.

"I didn't want to wake up either, but your voices were too loud and woke me up," Nara Shikaku said, rolling his eyes.

"Hello, my name is Uzumaki Shin. Please take care of me."

In the back row of the classroom, after Shin sat down with Kushina, he spoke to a girl sitting nearby who had delicate features and beautiful, long, straight black hair.

The girl looked at Shin, appearing somewhat flattered, then gave a soft smile and said politely, "Hello, my name is Uchiha Mikoto. Please take care of me as well."

Shin was stunned for a moment. He had only greeted her because he saw the little girl was pretty, but he hadn't expected her to be Uchiha Mikoto.

But that wasn't right. Shin glanced at Kushina and then back at Uchiha Mikoto. Were Kushina and Uchiha Mikoto the same age?

That couldn't be right. Uchiha Mikoto should be quite a bit older than Kushina; by all accounts, Uchiha Mikoto should be graduating from the Ninja Academy right about now.

Perhaps it has something to do with me being a transmigrator. After all, in the original story, only Kushina came to Konoha, but now, counting me, there are four Uzumaki clan members here, Shin thought to himself.

A small butterfly flapping its wings could trigger a storm, let alone a living person like him.

"Hiss~! Kushina, what are you doing?"

Shin asked Kushina after seeing his arm pinched until it turned red.

Shin felt incredibly depressed. He admitted that Uchiha Mikoto was very delicate, but he had only said hello—how did he get labeled a pervert just like that?

Even if Uchiha Mikoto was pretty, she was just a little girl. Shin wasn't a creep; how could he have thoughts about a little girl? He really couldn't understand Kushina.

"You two aren't from Konoha, are you?" Uchiha Mikoto countered.

"That's right! You're amazing, how did you figure out we weren't from Konoha so quickly?" Kushina looked at Uchiha Mikoto in surprise.

Uchiha Mikoto shook her head gently and said, "Because I am from the Uchiha clan, so they don't want to get close to me."

Kushina looked at Uchiha Mikoto, confused, but Shin had already guessed some of the reasons.

The reputation of the Uchiha clan in Konoha was, to put it mildly, complicated. In any case, the Uchiha clan had managed to offend almost every other clan in Konoha, not to mention the commoners.

The people of the Uchiha clan were quite arrogant. While this wasn't apparent in Uchiha Mikoto, it was glaringly obvious in the rest of her kin.

However, the Uchiha clan was undeniably powerful. After the decline of the Senju, the Uchiha became the premier clan of Konoha. No one dared to provoke them, and people didn't even dare to speak ill of them, lest they be invited to the Konoha Military Police Force for a "chat."

As the saying goes, if you can't afford to offend them, you can at least avoid them. Thus, the Uchiha clan became isolated—a situation that certain people were more than happy to see.
