Getting Tsunade to Call Him Teacher

"Shin, this jutsu is amazing. I want to learn it."

After seeing the power of Wind Style: Rasenshuriken, Kushina gazed at Shin with sparkling eyes.

Shin shook his head. "Kushina, it's not that I don't want to teach you. You're just not suited to learning this jutsu yet."

"Kushina, forget about S-rank jutsu for now. They're not that easy to learn," Tsunade said.

S-rank jutsu were powerful, but they were also difficult to learn. Wind Style: Rasenshuriken was particularly challenging, because it was an S-rank forbidden technique.

When training with Rasenshuriken, it was

easy to hurt yourself.

"Wind Style: Rasenshuriken turns wind-nature chakra into countless tiny needles that directly attack the body's cells. A ninja hit by it will be paralyzed from head to toe, even if they don't die."

"However, Wind Style: Rasenshuriken has its drawbacks. If you lose control while training, you can hurt yourself. An incomplete Rasenshuriken can't be thrown, so when you attack an enemy, you'll be caught in its effects too."

"It's best to use Shadow Clones to train this jutsu."

Shin explained some of the details of Wind Style: Rasenshuriken to them.

When Shin trained

with this jutsu, he always used Shadow Clones. He only performed it himself once he had perfected it.

But if Kushina tried to train with Shadow Clones like Shin did, it would be a problem. She didn't have enough chakra.

After just a few failures, she'd probably run out of chakra. Kushina wasn't suited to training with this jutsu yet.

"It takes a lot of chakra. Even though you have plenty, Kushina, you can't afford to waste it. You should wait until later to train with it."

"Okay."

Kushina wasn't too disappointed.

"But Tsunade, you can train with this jutsu." Shin looked at Tsunade.

Tsunade had plenty of chakra. As a member of the Senju Clan, she also had a Sage Body. Though it couldn't compare to Shin's, it still gave her an unimaginably vast supply of chakra.

Tsunade might only be an Elite Jonin now, but she had several times as much chakra as Sarutobi Hiruzen.

A ninja with a Sage Body basically never ran out of chakra once they matured. Those with a Perfect Sage Body had chakra overflowing from them—more than they could use.

Shin felt that his current chakra reserves, while perhaps not matching the Nine-Tails', were certainly no less than the

Eight-Tails'.

"You're going to teach me this jutsu?" Tsunade stared at Shin in surprise.

This wasn't some common jutsu. It was an S-rank jutsu, and he was actually willing to teach it to her. Could this brat really have a thing for her?

"If you don't want to learn it, that's fine. It's just an S-rank jutsu, nothing special to me."

Shin shrugged.

He wasn't just bragging. Wind Style: Rasenshuriken was powerful, but there were jutsu even stronger than it.

"If you're willing to teach me, then of course I don't mind learning it. It's an S-rank jutsu, after all."

Even Tsunade couldn't help being tempted by an S-rank jutsu.

"In that case, call me Teacher Shin." Shin smiled at Tsunade.

"You're asking for a beating." Tsunade angrily raised her fist and swung at him.

Shin dodged Tsunade's punch with a smile. To him, her fist moved in slow motion, and he could avoid it with ease.

"Damn it."

Tsunade was furious to discover she couldn't seem to do anything to the brat.

"Come on, say it. Think about what a great deal this is—one 'Teacher' gets you an S-rank jutsu."

Kushina said to Tsunade with exaggerated enthusiasm.

"Mikoto, don't you think I'm right?" Kushina nudged Mikoto beside her.

"Mm, I think Tsunade-sensei is getting a great deal," Mikoto said with a smile. She and Kushina were clearly enjoying the show.

Tsunade snorted. An S-rank jutsu was nothing special. She'd never call that brat Shin her teacher. Dream on.

"Teacher Shin."

Well, it seemed no one could resist the temptation of a good deal—not even Tsunade.

Shin was genuinely astonished. To be honest, he'd only been joking with Tsunade. He hadn't expected her to actually call him teacher.

Given Tsunade's personality, he really couldn't have imagined it.

"What, are you asking for a beating?"

With Shin, Kushina, and Mikoto watching, Tsunade's face flushed. After calling him Teacher Shin, she felt like she'd lost all dignity.

"Since you made such a big sacrifice, my dear student Tsunade, I'll teach you Wind Style: Rasenshuriken." Shin smiled.

Tsunade gritted her teeth. Shin must have been asking for a beating. Why had she actually gone and called him Teacher Shin?

If she could turn back time, she'd take those words back—and give Shin's face a close encounter with her fist.

Seeing Tsunade about to lose her temper, Shin cleared his throat twice and began by explaining some of the fundamentals of Rasenshuriken.

"So I have to learn Rasengan first?"

"Yeah. Rasengan is the foundation of Rasenshuriken. How can you use Rasenshuriken if you don't know Rasengan?" Shin nodded.

Shin had already taught Tsunade Rasengan, but she still hadn't learned it. Once she knew the basic principles, Rasengan wouldn't be too difficult. She'd probably get it in a few days.

"By the way, Tsunade, as a princess of the Senju Clan, you shouldn't be short on S-rank jutsu."

"Who told you I had no shortage of S-rank jutsu? I can get my hands on S-rank Wood Release jutsu, but my second granduncle put all the other S-rank jutsu in the Scroll of Sealing."

Tsunade explained to Shin.

Tsunade couldn't use Wood Release. Aside from the First, Senju Hashirama, no one else could use it yet.

The other S-rank jutsu developed by Senju Tobirama, such as the Flying Thunder God Technique and Impure World Reincarnation, had all been placed in the Scroll of Sealing.

But even if they weren't in the Scroll of Sealing, seeing them wouldn't necessarily mean Tsunade could learn them.

The Flying Thunder God Technique required a talent for space, while Impure World Reincarnation was no easy feat either. It was an extremely difficult forbidden technique to master.

"By the way, Shin, don't go showing off this S-rank jutsu," Tsunade said seriously.

S-rank jutsu were extremely rare in every country. Even Kage-level Ninja wanted to get their hands on them.

If word got out, it could be dangerous. Tsunade especially didn't trust Danzo not to covet an S-rank jutsu.

"Don't worry. I won't reveal it unless I have to. Besides, most people can't make me use Wind Style: Rasenshuriken."

Unless something unexpected happened, Shin wasn't likely to face any particularly powerful ninja at the moment. He wouldn't use Rasenshuriken against ordinary Genin or Chunin.

He wouldn't even need it against Jonin. A single slash would be faster.

Tsunade nodded. She trusted Shin completely.

"If Nawaki had even half your strength, I wouldn't be so worried. I wonder how he's doing with Orochimaru right now."

At that moment, a certain boy who was shoveling manure suddenly sneezed.

"Is someone thinking about me?" Nawaki scratched his head, then went back to shoveling.

As for why he was shoveling manure, Orochimaru had taken a job cleaning a ranch, which included clearing out the manure. Orochimaru had certainly taken a fine job.
