Background

Leng Yaozhu served as the Spirit Pagoda's Vice Pagoda Master, overseeing recruitment while the Pagoda Master handled broader affairs. During a riot period at the Spirit Ascension Platform, she learned that the seven-year-old Su Chen had defeated a Man-Faced Demon Spider and several three-ring Soul Elders without using soul skills. She immediately traveled to Eastsea City to investigate him herself. 16

Recognizing Su Chen's potential, she formally invited him to the Spirit Pagoda, offering to accept him as her personal disciple and direct the organization’s resources toward his development.
