Vihana's attempt to consume Duan Ming allows him to fuse with the fragment, seize Fel power, and absorb her soul. He subsequently consumes Belash and gains access to Fel, shadow, and arcane knowledge. 2 3 4

Lanlos's Demonic Awakening

After reaching Azeroth and reincarnating as Lanlos, Duan Ming avoids relying on Fel because of its influence over his mind and its danger to his new body. 5 7 20

The destruction of Golden Branch Village pushes Lanlos to accept the Keystone's power. Fel consumes Sores's remains, empowers Lanlos's revenge against the trolls, and leaves him horrified by the violence he commits. 12 13
