Senju Taoyuan began learning bloodline fusion while Hayakumo Sōma awakened a Basic Sage Body and succeeded in cultivating Lightning Armor. When Qingcheng's Shadow Clone offered to help Sōma awaken Wood Release, Sōma desperately tried to avoid being assigned to Konoha's feared Ministry of Agriculture.
