A voice echoed through the Spaceship: "Lord Frieza, Lord Cooler will be fully recovered in one minute."
"Excellent," Frieza said, raising a glass. "Then enter Earth. Let the Saiyans on that planet feel true terror. Let them slaughter each other. I want to watch Son Goku as he fails to save his world, and I will torture his children to death right before his eyes."
The people on Earth felt it too. This is... Frieza's energy. No, there are two other powerful auras. Who could these be?
The Spaceship landed on an iceberg, and Wei Dong used Instant Transmission to bring the Z Fighters to the site.
Frieza emerged with a lecherous grin that made Wei Dong want to punch him. The soldiers rolled out a cage containing a man who looked listless, as if he had lost everything.
Frieza gestured toward him. "Meet a Saiyan."
Vegeta was shocked. There are still surviving Saiyans?
Frieza continued his introduction. "This Saiyan's power exceeds your imagination. About half a year ago, he went berserk. His combat power at that time was perfection, but I couldn't control him. In his rampage, he killed his lover and his father."
"We attacked him just as his frenzy was ending. His power was terrifying; if he hadn't been exhausted, we never could have captured him. During that battle, my brother and I were severely injured. It took me nearly three months to recover, and my brother—yes, the one who just stepped out, named Cooler—took nearly half a year."
Wei Dong was drenched in sweat. He couldn't underestimate Broly. According to his system, Broly's base combat power was 1.5 billion—this was absolutely terrifying.
Frieza opened the cage door, but Broly made no move to leave. Frieza wasn't angry; he knew exactly how much power the Saiyan before him possessed.
Vegeta stepped forward, remembering what his son had said about this Frieza attacking his world.
Vegeta transformed into a Super Saiyan God Blue. Trunks was stunned, and Cooler remarked in surprise, "Frieza, it seems they have mastered a new form."
Frieza replied calmly, "Mastery is for the weak. Trash will always be trash. You were once my dog, and now that you've grown, you want to bite your master? We shall see if your current strength is worthy."
With that, Frieza began to power up, his combat strength instantly crushing Vegeta's. Though Vegeta broke into a cold sweat, he didn't back down; his son was watching.
"I call this form Golden Frieza," Frieza said, his aura flaring with a scorching, golden flame.
Vegeta charged, throwing a punch, but Frieza dodged it effortlessly and kicked Vegeta away.
Frieza couldn't resist mocking him. "Saiyans are just monkeys. You can't win, yet you stubbornly try. But this attempt might just cost you your life."
Vegeta emerged from the iceberg and, hearing the taunt, attacked again. This time, however, Frieza didn't just kick him; he launched Vegeta into the sky, kicked him back down, and fired a barrage of energy blasts.
Just as the blasts were about to hit the ground, Son Goku intervened. He fired a Kamehameha, clashing with Frieza's energy. The beams locked in a stalemate, and Cooler stepped in to assist Frieza, transforming into Golden Cooler.
Vegeta climbed up from the ground to help Son Goku, but they were at a disadvantage. Trunks, Piccolo, and Biro joined the fray.
The energy wave was pushed back, then stalled in the middle. Whis stepped in, putting an end to the clash.
When Frieza saw Whis, his expression shifted. He began looking around, as if searching for someone.
After a full sweep, he found nothing and asked, "Lord Whis, why is Lord Beerus not here?"
Whis replied, "Lord Beerus is still sleeping. I came out to get some food and decided to watch this battle."
"Then, Lord Whis, you won't stop me from taking my revenge?"
Whis smiled. "No, as long as you don't destroy this Earth. Lord Beerus and I come here often for the food."
Frieza nodded. "My thanks to Lord Whis for not interfering."
Whis just smiled.
The battle wasn't over, but from the exchange, it was clear the Z Fighters were inferior to Frieza's side.
Cooler's aura was stronger than Vegeta's, which wasn't Vegeta's fault—he hadn't had his potential unlocked.
Son Goku's aura flared, his combat power slightly higher than Golden Frieza's.
Looking at the power levels, Son Goku was stronger than Frieza, while Cooler was stronger than Vegeta—one side held the advantage, the other the deficit.
Frieza wasn't bothered by Son Goku's power surpassing his own; he was just annoyed. No one likes it when their enemy is stronger than them.
Broly remained in the cage, showing no sign of coming out. Perhaps he didn't intend to, having killed his own lover and father. But while Broly thought that, Frieza had other plans.
Frieza spoke up. "Mr. Broly, I apologize for bringing up your father's death. But do you know who sent you and your father to that planet all those years ago?"
Broly lifted his head. "Who?"
Frieza felt his plan succeeding. "See that man in the tight blue suit? That is Vegeta, the third of his name. His father was also named Vegeta. It was his father who sent you to that planet."
Frieza clenched his fists, his eyes filled with hatred as he looked at Vegeta. "Because his father feared your strength would surpass his, he worried it would threaten their status. He claimed it was an act of mercy, but in reality, he wanted you and your father to die on that planet forever, so he could secure his own position."
Damn, Wei Dong thought. I don't even think I'm as good as Frieza. This guy is a talent! If I didn't know he was a real estate tycoon, I would have believed him.
Broly looked at Frieza. "My father mentioned this. He said that if we ever got out, we had to make them pay."
Frieza nodded. "Exactly, Mr. Broly. We should honor your father's wishes. I tried to stop them back then because I couldn't stand their Saiyan ways, and they killed me for it. I think we should finish the task your father couldn't."
My father's unfinished task, Broly thought. Then I shall finish it.
With a roar, Broly shattered the iron cage and lunged at Vegeta.
