Is Broly the Protagonist?

At this moment, Broly had already charged out. Vegeta was certainly unable to swallow his anger; as the proud Prince of all Saiyans, being unable to defeat this one or that one, what use was he?

With that, he threw a punch that sent Broly flying.

Broly, sent flying, smashed through several snow-capped mountains. Vegeta flew after him, ready to vent his fury, but by then, Broly had already adjusted himself and rejoined the battle.

Broly was in his human form, yet he had completed that Great Ape transformation, granting a 10x multiplier. At this moment, Broly still only had 15 billion in combat power, which wasn't much to look at.

Vegeta looked at Broly with disdain. "I thought you were something special, but it turns out you're just at this level. If trash like this isn't sent to another planet to die, what else is it good for? It's a mercy I haven't killed you outright."

Wei Dong was puzzled; he had actually skipped a stage.

Broly's aura continued to rise, a green flame that seemed as if it would destroy everything in the vicinity.

Broly finished his transformation. He remained conscious, and his combat power was 150 billion—on par with Vegeta. After all, the bloodline strength of the Legendary Super Saiyan was truly terrifying.

When combat power is equal or close, the Legendary Super Saiyan is guaranteed to win.

Broly made his move. Vegeta punched Broly, but Broly felt little pain; he took the hit head-on and returned a punch to Vegeta. This punch was no small matter—it was certainly no small matter—as Vegeta's nose began to bleed. In truth, Vegeta's stamina and body were already in poor condition from his previous fight with Frieza.

This punch seemed to break Vegeta's defense. Vegeta followed up with a barrage of Prince Tactics—"Ah, da, da, da!"—but when the smoke cleared, Broly was completely unscathed, and his evil grin shattered Vegeta's composure.

Vegeta had already given up. With that, Broly sent Vegeta flying with a single punch. Vegeta landed among the Z Fighters, gasping for his last breath, and that was when Wei Dong stepped in.

Indeed, Wei Dong fed Vegeta a Senzu Bean and continued to watch. Once Vegeta recovered, he had no intention of jumping back in.

Son Goku was excited now. He began his warm-up, while Broly gave a wicked smile and charged over. Son Goku—could it be?—transformed into a Super Saiyan God Blue.

But the difference was that Broly broke free instantly and sent Son Goku flying with a single punch.

Broly followed closely with a combo, but Son Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan God Blue, fighting Broly to a standstill.

Son Goku smiled. "It seems no matter how I train, I can't seem to catch up to your growth. Your transformation's multiplier isn't that impressive, but mine is different, so the gap in our base states is massive."

Hearing Son Goku's words, Broly recognized his voice.

Broly lost control, muttering over and over, "Kakarot, Kakarot, Kakarot."

Because of his earlier grief, Broly hadn't immediately realized that Son Goku was Kakarot.

Seeing Broly lose control, Frieza mocked, "Son Goku, it looks like you're finished. Once Broly loses control, his power will be stronger than you can imagine."

Wei Dong had already measured Broly's combat power; it had reached 250 billion. "Hey, Whis, do you want to put up an Energy Shield?" When Wei Dong turned to look for Whis, he wasn't there. Damn it, the guy is gone.

With Broly out of control, Son Goku was no match for him. Vegeta clenched his fists and went up to help Son Goku deal with Broly.

Unfortunately, Broly handled them one-on-one, suppressing them both completely.

Frieza laughed out loud in delight.

Son Goku and Vegeta were beaten until their shirts were gone—though the Dragon Ball pants were indestructible, so they stood shirtless, blood constantly trickling from the corners of their mouths.

Broly seemed to be enjoying the sensation.

With Son Goku and Vegeta being tortured, Trunks couldn't sit still, and Son Gohan was itching to move. Meanwhile, Piccolo and Biro were discussing something.

Vegeta and Son Goku engaged in a beam struggle with Broly. Vegeta and Son Goku were suppressed heavily, and the beam was pushed right toward them.

Son Gohan and Trunks joined the beam struggle, but they were still suppressed. Now, Piccolo and Biro didn't hesitate; they activated Kaio-ken and joined the struggle. The beam seemed to stall in the middle, and Frieza used a Death Beam—he didn't intend to kill, merely to interfere.

Wei Dong stepped in and blocked it all, and Frieza didn't launch any further attacks.

The energy beam hung in the middle, ready to explode at any moment. Wei Dong transformed into his Super Saiyan 4 form, activated an energy shield, and detonated the beam. Thanks to the shield, nothing was affected.

Everyone noticed Wei Dong now; after all, the combat power Wei Dong radiated was terrifying.

However, Wei Dong had no intention of fighting; he simply used Instant Transmission to whisk all the Z Fighters away.

Left behind were a bewildered Frieza, Cooler, Broly, and Frieza's army.

Wei Dong then used Instant Transmission to return, blew up the Spaceship, and used Instant Transmission to escape once more.
