Background & History

Na'er is found alone while being harassed by a group of thugs. Su Mingyue intervenes, kills the attackers, and offers to take her with him after noticing her white hair and amethyst-colored eyes. She identifies herself only as “Na'er” and quickly begins calling him “Big Brother.” 42

Initially unable to recall any past memories, Na'er becomes dependent on Su Mingyue's care. He feeds her, provides her a room, and plans to give her a legitimate identity by personally awakening her martial soul before registering her with the Spirit Pagoda. 43

Her awakening reveals the Silver Dragon Spear and Innate Full Soul Power. Su Mingyue recognizes her as the other half of the Silver Dragon King and begins preparing her cultivation while keeping her close rather than allowing her to leave on her own. 43 44

Na'er later begins experiencing dizziness and receives mental contact from the Douluo Plane Spirit, who calls herself Na'er's mother. The Plane Spirit explains that Na'er's memories are resurfacing and considers Su Mingyue a potential hope for the world. 45

To prevent Gu Yue from forcibly absorbing her, Su Mingyue performs a Stigmata implantation procedure. Afterward, Na'er can access memories of the Dragon God and Silver Dragon King, while retaining the ability to resist or end a fusion with Gu Yue. 46 47

Through their shared senses, Na'er contacts Gu Yue and asks her to acknowledge them as sisters. Gu Yue ultimately accepts Na'er as her younger sister after Na'er agrees to share her perspective, stop transmitting her feelings, and arrange contact with the Plane Spirit. 49 50

Three years later, Na'er accompanies Su Mingyue and Gu Yue to school, where she is introduced to Tang Wulin as Su Mingyue's younger sister. Su Mingyue intends for Na'er to eventually receive Tang Wulin's extracted Golden Dragon King bloodline as part of a plan involving Gu Yue, Na'er, and the Dragon God. 51 56

Na'er is affectionate, trusting, and openly attached to Su Mingyue. She accepts his care without hesitation, follows his instructions during her awakening and Stigmata procedure, and consistently calls him “Brother.” 42 44 46

She is also playful and mischievous, teasing Gu Yue and enjoying Su Mingyue's teasing of her sister. 52 53 However, she becomes unsettled when Leng Yulai displays intimacy with Su Mingyue, describing the feeling as stifling and viewing Yulai as an intruder in their home. 48 49
