History

Original Era

The Primordial World had already existed for countless epochs by the Witch–Demon Tribulation. The Twelve Ancestral Witches ruled from Buzhou Mountain, while Demon Emperor Jun commanded hundreds of millions of demons from the boundless Primordial Starry Sky 1.

Its geography originated from Pangu's transformation: his eyes became the sun and moon, his head became the Ninth Heaven, his spine became Buzhou Mountain, and his limbs became the four poles 182. The world's ordered Great Dao descended from Pangu's Great Dao of Strength, unlike the chaotic and difficult-to-comprehend Daos outside it 102 307.

Buzhou Mountain's later collapse shifted the Primordial Starry Sky and disrupted the former calendar, whose year had been measured by Jupiter's orbit around the Twelve Yuan Chen 146.

Netherworld and Earthly Dao Revival

The Netherworld Realm opened through a gateway at Mount Tai after releasing accumulated Nether Energy and malevolent energy from the beginning of creation 62. It initially lacked rivers and had no Book of Life and Death because reincarnation had not yet been established 64.

The discovery of the Primordial Sea of Creation beneath the Netherworld Sea of Blood exposed Pangu's lower dantian and ultimately enabled the Earthly Dao's revival 182 183. When Houtu opened the Mysterious Female Gate, Innate Primordial Qi flowed into the world, strengthened mountains, rivers, and spiritual veins, and awakened an Earthly Dao will comparable to the Heavenly Dao 183.

The Sea of Creation later merged with the Netherworld Realm, while the Mysterious Female Gate entered the Six Paths of Reincarnation and expanded the Underworld's authority 184.

Migration and Reshaping

When revived Chaos Demon Gods threatened the world, the Saints enacted the Wandering the Great Desolation Plan. Yunxiao converted the Universe Refining Heaven Array into a Space Migration Array, while Zhen Yuanzi refined and stabilized the world's earth veins 333 334.

The Primordial World and the realms connected through Tongtian Jianmu underwent repeated spatial migrations. The process strained the Three Paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man and awakened further Chaos Demon Gods through disturbances in the River of Time and Space 334 335.

Pangu's conflict with Daoist Hong Tian eventually collapsed the original Primordial True Realm and 129,600 associated Primordial Worlds into a Chaos Singularity. Their destruction and subsequent sky-opening produced a new Primordial True Realm tens of thousands of times larger than the former one 338.

World Laws and Daos

Heavenly Dao

The Heavenly Dao exercises authority within the Primordial World, including punishing Chaos Demon Gods and restoring the True Spirits of the Four Pole Saint Lords when they fall 81 232. Its reach does not extend beyond the world's boundary, allowing outsiders in Chaos to evade its direct punishment 232.

Earthly Dao

The Earthly Dao revives through the Sea of Creation and governs the world's foundational terrain, earth veins, and Netherworld-linked authority 183 184. Its resurgence provoked hostility from the Heavenly Dao and intensified conflict between their respective factions 184 186.

Human Dao

The Human Dao derives power from living beings: stronger inhabitants produce stronger manifested Human Dao power. It can accommodate up to seven Saints 251. Xuan Qing identifies it as the dependence of the Heavenly Dao and the trunk supported by the Earthly Dao's foundation 269.

Post-Reshaping World Will

After the reshaping, the Three Paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man merged into a single world will. This will initially suppresses the Saints' power to preserve the stability and balance of the newly born Primordial True Realm 339.

The new world began with few fixed rules. Saints could create merit, establish races, and shape order through their own Dao, rather than relying solely on a pre-existing Heavenly Dao system 339.

Inhabitants and Cultivation

• The original world supported the Immortal Path established after Hongjun's Purple Heaven Palace sermons. Its six principal stages are True Immortal, Golden Immortal, Grand Unity Golden Immortal, Great Golden Immortal, Primordial Golden Immortal, and Primordial Great Luo Golden Immortal 1 250.
• Primordial cultivation emphasizes the balanced refinement of physical body, Primordial Spirit, and magic power, rather than the exclusive cultivation of a single aspect 310.
• The world also gave rise to Postnatal Great Daos, including Elixir Dao, Artifact Dao, Talisman Dao, Sword Dao, Formation Dao, and Refining Dao; several later evolved into Innate Great Daos 305 310.
• Following the reshaping, Nuwa created the Innate Five-Colored Human Race from True Water of Creation and Creation Origin Soil. Ancestor Dragon, Primordial Phoenix, and First Qilin subsequently recreated their respective clans 341.

Inter-Realm Significance

Before its reshaping, the Primordial World was described as the only known Great Primordial Realm, exceeding the limit of ordinary world-creation paths, which generally culminated at a Great Thousand World 112.

Its structured Great Dao allows ordinary beings to cultivate and potentially attain Primordial Great Luo Golden Immortal status, a possibility unavailable in ordinary Great Thousand Worlds or in the disordered Daos of Chaos 307.

Through Tongtian Jianmu and later inter-realm exploration, it became connected to thousands of Great Thousand Worlds, 129,600 Middle Thousand Worlds, 480 million Small Thousand Worlds, and innumerable lesser realms 297.
