Brotherhood Wolverine

Du Mu first identifies Logan as a mutant with an “immortal” healing factor and recruits him into the Brotherhood alongside Victor. Logan initially has bone claws rather than Adamantium and is described as a durable melee combatant. 101 109

While with the Brotherhood, Logan and Victor spend much of their time drinking or fighting each other. Charles later reveals that telepathic influence was used during their initial recruitment, but that Logan remained with the Brotherhood voluntarily after the influence was removed. 106 271

During the conflict with Sebastian Shaw, false intelligence causes Shaw to mistake Logan for the Brotherhood’s telepath. Logan endures repeated energy blasts that shatter his body and expose bone, yet regenerates fast enough to survive. His bone claws cannot harm Shaw, whose power absorbs their energy. 109

Weapon X Wolverine

A parallel-world Logan appears after escaping William Stryker’s facility. Stryker offered him Adamantium claws to help him kill Victor, but intended to harvest his DNA, erase his mind, and make him a controllable weapon. 191 193

Logan seeks Victor after believing Victor murdered his wife, Kayla. He later learns that Kayla—Silver Fox—is alive and was coerced by Stryker through threats against her sister. Rather than pursue revenge against Victor, Logan joins Du Mu, John Wraith, and others in infiltrating Stryker’s island laboratory and freeing its mutant prisoners. 192 196 197

Old Logan

Another parallel Logan is encountered as an elderly, exhausted man suffering from Adamantium poisoning. His deteriorated healing factor can no longer offset the toxicity of his metal skeleton, leaving him physically frail despite his mutant biology. 201

Old Logan acts as Laura’s protective father figure. When the Ravagers threaten Laura, he accepts Du Mu’s Rebirth Pill despite previously wishing only to live out his remaining days. The pill removes the Adamantium from his body, restores his youth and healing factor, and returns him to bone claws. 202 203

With his strength restored, Old Logan eliminates the Ravagers, defeats X-24, and later helps protect mutant children. He travels with Du Mu and Wade to another world, where he confronts his younger self and assists the X-Men against Magneto. 204 206 207 210

Future Logan

In a Sentinel-dominated future, Logan’s healing factor makes him the only mutant capable of surviving a consciousness transfer fifty years into the past. His future consciousness occupies his younger body in an attempt to prevent mutant genocide. 269

Future Logan is initially convinced that Charles has brainwashed the Brotherhood. After Charles shares the Brotherhood’s history and removes the misunderstanding, Logan accepts that this altered timeline differs fundamentally from his own. 270 271
