Background / History

Changqin Wuming is the Seventh Prince whose father had supported him in taking the throne. By the time he appears at Refining Lake, however, he is preoccupied with earning spirit stones and finding work that will keep him alive in the cultivation world. He initially tries to recruit Shen Yue into a waste-Qi recycling position, but cannot afford the two-spirit-stone entry cost himself. 1

At Refining Lake, he works alongside Shen Yue sorting scrap and later moves into waste-Qi recycling, a position farther from the lake’s fire poison. The work improves both his income and cultivation prospects, allowing him to earn roughly five to eight spirit stones each month during the heightened demand caused by the sect war. 3 4 13
