Goten was annoyed, and so was Trunks. Damn it, they were supposed to be fighting adults; beating up a bunch of kids felt like bullying. After Trunks took out a blonde kid—who looked tough but was actually a total pushover—with a single kick, it was Goten's turn.

"Ikuse, get serious! Don't be careless like your brother," a plump woman sitting next to Oolong shouted in a voice like a quacking duck.

"Goten, go easy on him," Chi-Chi, sitting on the other side of Oolong and Bulma, cheered for her son, though she was actually worried Goten might hit too hard. Before Trunks and Goten faced each other, things were quite dull.

"Tch, why does my noble son have to face a bunch of low-class brats like you? What bad luck," the plump woman glanced at Chi-Chi and muttered resentfully.

Bulma, sitting nearby, smirked sarcastically, "Oh, I was wondering why this silly boy looked so dim-witted. Turns out he's the younger brother of that other dull kid. No wonder he's just as stupid."

"Don't count on another miracle. Once he finishes off this brat, you'll see how strong he really is," the plump woman retorted loudly.

Goten yawned, looking bored; he couldn't get excited about an opponent like this.

Hmph, this little shrimp. With so many spectators watching, I'll show him what I'm made of, the guy named Ikuse thought, looking down at Goten's small frame with disdain.

Hmm, this child... The blonde announcer stared at Goten's familiar face and hairstyle, and the answer clicked in his mind. Son Goten... oh, he must be Son Goku's son. They look exactly the same, like two peas in a pod.

"The match begins!"

As the announcer shouted, Ikuse took his stance and smirked triumphantly, "A brat like you actually has the guts to stand in this ring?"

"Take this! Killer Fist!" Ikuse lunged, throwing a fierce punch toward Goten's face.

So slow. That was Goten's only thought. Watching the fist move at a snail's pace, Goten blocked it with a single finger.

"Oh, oh, oh, oh!" Seeing his punch blocked, Ikuse felt embarrassed and swept a leg toward Goten, but Goten blocked that just as easily.

"Seems you've got some moves," Ikuse said, bouncing on his toes. The plump woman looked smug, certain of victory, "Oh ho ho ho, Ikuse is finally getting serious!"

"Haaaaa!"

Ikuse yelled, throwing a flurry of punches at Goten, but Goten just sighed, "Ugh, this is boring."

Goten suddenly struck, landing a punch on Ikuse's left eye. A black eye formed instantly, and Ikuse began to stumble around.

"Something feels off."

Goten frowned and landed another punch on Ikuse's right eye, giving him a matching pair of panda eyes.

"That's better."

Goten looked at the fallen Ikuse with satisfaction; the symmetrical black eyes looked much more balanced. He clapped his hands and walked off the stage.

"Contestant Ikuse has lost consciousness! Contestant Son Goten wins!" The announcer checked on Ikuse, realized he had simply passed out, and immediately declared Goten the winner.

"Ruru ruru!"

The plump woman looked on in disbelief. Bulma stuck her tongue out and made a face at her, causing the woman to fly into a rage and lunge at Bulma, "I've had enough!"

As the woman prepared to fight Bulma, Chi-Chi knocked her out with a single punch, "Be quiet for a while!"

The tournament was incredibly dull; it was mostly just kids fighting. Both Trunks and Goten took out their opponents with single strikes.

Finally, the most crucial and final match for the championship arrived: Trunks vs. Goten.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Junior Division final is about to begin! Trunks versus Son Goten—who will be the ultimate winner? Both young contestants have fought their way to the finals with absolute dominance. It's also worth mentioning that they are good friends!"

The blonde announcer introduced Goten and Trunks as they stood on the stage. In the lounge, Mr. Satan sat on the sofa with his legs crossed, smoking a cigar. He glanced at the tournament staff and said dismissively, "Oh, the two brats are pretty good."

"This match will be worth watching, Mr. Satan. You might want to go take a look," a staff member wearing glasses suggested.

"Fine, I'll go take a look. I have to fight the little guy who wins anyway," Mr. Satan exhaled a cloud of smoke.

"Finally, a match worth watching," Krillin said, resting his arms on the railing as he watched the two on stage.

"Yeah."

Son Gohan hurried over and joined the group, "Did I keep you waiting? The preliminaries just ended."

"Took you long enough to get that new machine," Krillin complained.

"You're just in time. Their match is about to start," Son Goku said with a smile.

"The Junior Division final of the World Martial Arts Tournament begins now!"

The two bowed to each other in respect, then took their stances, staring at each other with intense fighting spirit.

Huh, why does this kid look so familiar? Mr. Satan stroked his chin, trying to recall.

"Hah!"

"Tuan!"

Goten's eyes narrowed as he instantly transformed into a Super Saiyan, stunning everyone.

"Super Saiyan? Goten, we agreed you wouldn't transform," Son Gohan said, looking at Goten's transformation with frustration.

"Wow, Goten can already turn into a Super Saiyan?" Son Goku was shocked. His son was only seven years old; seeing him transform really caught him off guard.
