Kangetsu drove the allied clans into a drug-fueled slaughter of the Uzumaki Clan, then faced Uzumaki Ziyan’s monstrous tailed-beast form and destroyed him. As the war ended, Madara and Hashirama confronted Kangetsu, who drew on the Blood Sea to meet Hashirama’s attack.

• Kangetsu learned that Kaguya Makura and four powerful companions had returned after vanishing, then ordered Hyuga Tianguang to put the Hyuga Main Family and the Kaguya brothers’ clans on the front lines.
• Black Zetsu used the Seven-Tails to lure Uzumaki fighters into battle, and Kangetsu sent the alliance against the Uzumaki Clan despite Tianguang’s warning about the Tailed Beasts.
• Kangetsu had the Akimichi Clan spread a drug that drove both armies into a frenzy and drained their life force, resulting in mass slaughter across the battlefield.
• After declaring that he would rule the era, Kangetsu led the Crimson Village troops into battle with his Susanoo, while Watanabe and fifty Mangekyō Sharingan followers cut through the survivors with their own Susanoo.
• The Uzumaki Jinchūriki sacrificed themselves to release their Tailed Beasts, but Kangetsu fought the beasts with his Susanoo and Killing Fist, overpowering their bombs and attacks.
• Uzumaki Ziyan absorbed the seven other Tailed Beasts and became an eight-headed monster, but his fused power destabilized and he exploded, leaving Kangetsu to declare the battle and era over.
• Madara and Hashirama confronted Kangetsu after six years apart, and Kangetsu announced that he would marry in Crimson Village while threatening the Senju Clan and condemning Hagoromo’s ideals.
• Kangetsu struck the Sage of Six Paths, then absorbed the Nine-Tails’ nature chakra and the Blood Sea’s energy before punching toward Hashirama’s descending Buddha palm.

After Uchiha Izuna’s death, Kangetsu revived him so he could take revenge on Tobirama Senju, then faced the Sage of Six Paths and strengthened his control over the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. As Crimson Village prepared for Kangetsu’s wedding, Uchiha Madara arrived with a gift.

• Kangetsu returned to Crimson Village with severe injuries, organized the settlement of new arrivals, and arranged for allied clans to attend his wedding.
• After Uchiha Izuna died from Tobirama Senju’s attack, Kangetsu used a modified Impure World Reincarnation to revive him in Uzumaki Ziyan’s body, giving him enhanced abilities and an undying body.
• Kangetsu declared war on Tobirama Senju, while Uchiha Madara assembled the Uchiha forces to attack the Senju Clan and Watanabe carried out Kangetsu’s orders in the Land of Wood.
• Kangetsu overwhelmed Senju Hashirama and Tobirama Senju, confronted the Sage of Six Paths over the wars fought in Ninshu’s name, and let Izuna stab Tobirama before resealing him.
• Kangetsu revealed that thirteen installations hidden in Crimson Village could counter the Ten-Tails’ chakra, then summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and merged a God Tree sapling with it.

Kangetsu founded the Blood Ninja Village, gathered the new villages for a summit, and used the tailed-beast auction and exams to tighten his hold over them. As rivalries and attacks destabilized the minor villages and great powers, Kangetsu headed toward the battlefield where Hashirama and Madara had met.

• Kangetsu named his village and country, claimed the titles of Blood Shadow and Blood Emperor, and declared the Warring States Period over.
• Hashirama and Madara founded Konoha, while the other leaders established their villages and agreed to attend Kangetsu’s Kage Summit.
• Kangetsu told the summit that he would provoke wars among the other villages so the Blood Ninja Village could profit from their weakening.
• Kangetsu auctioned the tailed beasts, awarding them to villages that offered wealth and resources, and promised sealing help to the buyers.
• When Shukaku attacked during the exams, Kangetsu overpowered and restrained the One-Tail, then forced the assembled Kage to accept his dominance.
• Uchiha Yuxin killed Idamu’s son in the first match, while later exam battles produced further victories among the villages’ young ninja.
• Kangetsu plundered ruined minor villages as Takigakure united smaller powers and arranged an assassination attempt against Konoha’s Hokage, giving rise to Akatsuki.

Kangetsu killed Hashirama and set plans in motion while Madara secretly revived and allied with Izuna. As Tobirama gathered the great villages to face the Blood Ninja Village, Kangetsu prepared for the confrontation and guarded the secrets of the Dragon Clan and Heaven Realm.

• Hashirama and Madara failed to stop Kangetsu’s meteor, and the resulting devastation led them to resume their exhausted fight, where Hashirama killed Madara.
• Kangetsu attacked Hashirama with escalating fire techniques and killed him, leaving the world to enter a new century.
• Madara revived beneath the ice, awakened the Rinnegan through Hashirama’s flesh, and freed Izuna, who chose to seize control of Kirigakure.
• Kangetsu strengthened his influence by sending altered infants to the villages, approving a strategy course, and learning from Kurama about Ōtsutsuki Along and the Dragon Clan.
• Kangetsu visited the Heaven Realm and learned that the Dragon Clan guarded a secret about the tailed beasts, so he ordered his forces to hunt the clan and those connected to its summoning scroll.
• Tobirama confined Uzumaki Zixin and planned a Five Kage Summit, while the other villages prepared to attend Hashirama’s memorial.
• Kangetsu gathered his senior officials after learning that the village leaders were heading to Konoha, and Tobirama opened the summit by asking them to discuss how to face Kangetsu and the Blood Ninja Village.
