William curled his lip and pulled out his Avengers ID card. "Avengers Watcher, William Lister."
"Avengers?" Nick Fury had never heard the name before. He looked puzzled. "Is that some kind of band?"
"We're superheroes who save the world."
"Then tell me, superheroes," Nick Fury asked. "Where are you from, and how long will you be staying here?"
"We're from the future, but I don't know exactly how long we'll be staying," William replied helplessly.
"The future?" Nick Fury was startled at first, then a smile spread across his face. He could not help bursting into laughter as he looked at the two agents and police officers behind him. "Ha ha! This guy says he's from the future! Have you been watching too many science fiction movies?"
"The Back to the Future trilogy was indeed excellent," William said with a shrug.
