Little Gold manifested alongside Little Silver during Yu Tianlong's martial soul awakening. Although observers initially dismissed both as unusual Luo Sanpao, Little Gold showed affection and dependence toward Yu Tianlong from the beginning. Yu Tianlong gave it the name “Little Gold,” strengthening their connection 1 3.

Unlike ordinary martial souls, Little Gold experiences hunger and can physically consume soul beast flesh. Its first documented meal—Earth Armor Dragon meat—gave it defensive scales, revealing its ability to devour and incorporate traits from prey 2. Whale glue later enhanced its size, aura, and physical power, while the resulting energy also strengthened Yu Tianlong 5 6.

In the Star Dou Forest, Little Gold devoured the entire body of a thousand-year Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear after Yu Tianlong selected its spirit ring.
