Environment

The Star Dou Forest is a vast, boundless forest described as the largest soul beast habitat on the Douluo Continent and a major hunting ground for soul masters seeking spirit rings. Its outer regions are humid, densely wooded, and populated by spirit beasts of varying ages. 6 22 62

• Outer forest — A sprawling sea of trees with damp soil, layered canopies, and frequent soul beast activity. 6 62 78
• Deep forest — Overlapping canopies leave the interior dim and shadowed; ordinary ten- and hundred-year soul beasts avoid the pressure of powerful soul masters. 7
• Core Area — An ancient, highly dangerous region dominated by towering trees, dense primordial aura, and Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts. Even a Title Douluo considers entering it potentially fatal. 26
• Lake of Life — A blue-green healing lake within the Core Area, rich in life energy. Its water healed Yu Tianlong's injuries, and cultivating beside it greatly accelerated his soul power growth. 27 32
• Ancient tree settlement — A colossal tree beside the Lake of Life contains natural tree hollows used as living quarters; Bi Ji arranged one for Yu Tianlong after Di Tian permitted him to stay. 29

Inhabitants and Authority

• Di Tian — The Beast God and true ruler of the Star Dou Forest. He commands enormous authority over its soul beasts and protects the inheritors of the Dragon God's bloodline. 28 65
• Bi Ji — A gentle beast king associated with the Lake of Life. She healed Little Gold, sheltered Yu Tianlong, and provided him guidance during his stay in the Core Area. 29 32 66
• Xiong Jun, Zi Ji, King of Ten Thousand Demons, and Scarlet King — High-ranking beast kings residing around the Lake of Life. 28 67
• Da Ming / Sky Azure Bull Python — A Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast in the Core Area; initially attacked Yu Tianlong before recognizing the Dragon God's aura in Little Gold and Little Silver. 63 65
• Er Ming / Titan Giant Ape — A Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast who confronted Yu Tianlong alongside Da Ming. 63 64

History

Yu Tianlong first entered the Star Dou Forest with Yu Yuanzhen and Yu Xiaogang to obtain his first spirit ring. In its depths, the group found a thousand-year Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear. Yu Tianlong selected it as his first ring, while Little Gold devoured its corpse and gained traits resembling the bear's dreadclaws. 6 7 8

During the same expedition, the group encountered Dugu Bo and Dugu Ce as Dugu Ce attempted to absorb the ring of a Ten-Thousand-Year Jade Phosphorus Snake. Little Silver absorbed the snake's venom from Dugu Ce's body, saving him and evolving through the absorbed toxin. 10 11 12

Two years later, Yu Yuanzhen lured Yu Tianlong back into the forest under the guise of helping him obtain a spirit ring. Yu Tianlong instead had Little Silver absorb a Space Rabbit's ring, gaining the ability to use Space Jump. When Yu Yuanzhen attempted to seize Little Gold, Yu Tianlong escaped into the Core Area. 22 23 24 26

The Core Area's overwhelming soul beast aura forced Yu Yuanzhen to retreat. Di Tian and the beast kings subsequently rescued Yu Tianlong, recognizing Little Gold and Little Silver as bearers of the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King auras. Yu Tianlong spent a month at the Lake of Life, where the forest's life energy accelerated his cultivation and the two Luo Sanpaos' growth. 26 28 32

Five years later, Yu Tianlong returned as Spirit Hall's Holy Son. His arrival led to a confrontation with Da Ming, Er Ming, Xiao Wu, and Xiao Wu's mother; Di Tian ended the conflict and reaffirmed Yu Tianlong's protected position within the forest. 62 63 64 65 66

Notable Events

• Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear hunt — Yu Tianlong obtained his first thousand-year spirit ring in the forest, while Little Gold devoured the bear and developed dark-gold claw patterns. 7 8
• Dugu Ce's rescue — Little Silver absorbed the venom of the Ten-Thousand-Year Jade Phosphorus Snake, preventing Dugu Ce's death and establishing Yu Tianlong's bond with Dugu Bo. 10 11 12

• The forest's Core Area is sufficiently dangerous that Yu Yuanzhen, a Title Douluo, abandoned his pursuit of Yu Tianlong after sensing the pressure within it. 26
• Yu Tianlong considered the Star Dou Forest more sincere than the human world because its soul beasts offered him shelter and guidance after his clan's betrayal. 29 33
