Background / History

Yu Tianlong was born a collateral descendant of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. His parents, notable members of the clan's second generation, died during a soul-hunting mission when he was three. A soul from another world inhabits his body; he had lived in Douluo Continent for six years by the time of his martial soul awakening. He is Yu Xiaogang's cousin. 1

At the clan's awakening ceremony, Tianlong manifested twin Luo Sanpao martial souls: one gold and one silver. Though their pig-nosed, short-legged forms initially drew ridicule, he possessed innate full soul power and remained composed. 1

He later discovered that the twins were living, physically manifested beings rather than ordinary projections. Little Gold could devour soul beast flesh and inherit traits, while Little Silver could absorb and wield elemental energy. 2

The clan heavily invested in Tianlong after his potential became clear, granting him core-disciple privileges, unrestricted resources, and access to the Mimicry Training Ground. 4 Yu Yuanzhen's extraordinary generosity eventually made Tianlong suspicious, particularly as Yu Xiaogang became unusually quiet. 16 17

Yu Yuanzhen and Yu Xiaogang ultimately attempted to use Yu Xiaogang's Luo Sanpao to devour Little Gold and Little Silver. Tianlong was betrayed during the hunt for his third spirit ring and escaped into the Star Dou Forest Core Area, where the fierce beasts saved and healed him. 23 29

Di Tian identified Little Gold and Little Silver as bearers of the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King's auras, respectively, and accepted Tianlong because of their connection to the Dragon God's lineage. 28 Tianlong later cultivated for five years at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, emerging at age thirteen with both Luo Sanpaos evolved into giant dragons. 38

He returned to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan through the Three Sects Grand Competition, publicly exposed Yu Xiaogang's stolen bloodline, and defeated him. He is observant and politically cautious. Tianlong recognized that the clan's excessive support concealed an ulterior motive, chose to seek Dugu Bo's aid rather than depend entirely on the clan, and adapted when escape from Yu Yuanzhen's trap became impossible. 16 17 23
