Yu Tianlong followed Bi Ji along the shore of the Lake of Life toward the towering ancient tree.

"Yes, Senior Bi Ji."

"There is no need to call me Senior; just call me Bi Ji." She smiled faintly, a expression like the warm spring sun that made one involuntarily relax.

"You mentioned earlier that you were being hunted by members of your clan?"

At the mention of this, Yu Tianlong's expression darkened instantly.

"Yes." His voice carried irrepressible anger. "The patriarch of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Yu Yuanzhen. On the surface, he cared for me deeply and provided me with vast cultivation resources, but in reality, he was treating me as livestock.
