Background / History

The Dragon Fighting Plane originated from the Myriad Creation Dragon God rather than natural formation. It is the remains and Dao body of that supreme Dragon God, whose central Dao fruit became the foundation of the world. In its prosperous age, the Four Great God King Dragons ruled the four directions, the Twelve Star Dragons guarded its regions, and the Fighting Dragon Clan inhabited its skies, land, and seas. Its complete system encompassed the powers of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Light, and Dark. 3 447

In the Mythological Era, the Dark Plane invaded the Dragon Fighting Plane. The six Ultimate Dragon Fighting Kings and their clans defeated the invaders, shattered the Dark Plane, and absorbed its origin into their own world. This victory added darkness as the plane’s seventh source attribute and elevated its overall foundation, while a Core Flame left by the invasion subsequently propagated the Black Hand Clan. 363 580

The addition of darkness completed the plane's attributes and elevated it into the Lawful Universe Domain, also called the Law Domain Rule Cosmos. Over the following tens of millions of years, the Dragon Fighting Plane fought neighboring planes of various sizes, developing extensive military and forging traditions. The Four Great God King Dragons also led campaigns in which other planes were destroyed and absorbed into its territory. 363 580 625

The original inheritance account described its downfall as beginning internally. Negative emotions and impurities that should have been naturally processed by the plane accumulated into a self-aware dark existence: the Black Death Dragon. The resulting war devastated the plane, corrupted the Twelve Star Dragons, and ultimately brought the world to collapse. 3

Later accounts identify the Black Death Dragon as the being born from the Dark Elephant Origin. When that origin began stirring, the Four Great God King Dragons prepared ten thousand years in advance, gathering the six original elemental powers to forge the Star Dragon Tower. They intended to seal the emerging dark existence, but underestimated its strength: the Black Death Dragon seized the tower and used it to suppress the six elemental origins instead. 428 625

The ancient enmity between the Fighting Dragon Clan and Black Hand Clan intensified the catastrophe. The Black Death Dragon was supported by the Black Hand Clan, while the Four Great God King Dragons opposed it, bringing the plane to the brink of complete destruction. 369

Before destruction, the plane consciousness extracted its core laws and part of its origin to create the Dragon Origin Realm. It sealed surviving remnant souls within this seed and sent it through time and space, seeking a successor capable of restoring the world. 3

Zhong Shenxiu later explained that, at the end of the ancient conflict, both the Four Great God King Dragons and Black Death Dragon had exhausted their strength. The God King Dragons willingly dispersed their divine souls into a planar barrier to stabilize the shattered world. The Black Death Dragon ceased fighting and withdrew with the Black Hand Clan into the Dark Elephant Abyss, nourishing the dark origin so that the plane's seven elemental origins could become harmonious. Neither side remained alive as an independent ancient ruler by the time Zhong Shenxiu recounted this history. 625

The plane consciousness tested candidates through dream simulations of the final war. Zhong Shenxiu endured the trial for nine years and defeated the Black Death Dragon’s projection, becoming the sole successful successor, Plane Master, and inheritor of the Fighting Dragon Clan. 1 3

The Black Death Dragon later revealed that the conflict between itself and the Four Great God King Dragons had not simply arisen from hatred: both sides had chosen different, flawed paths to save the dying world and jointly selected Zhong Shenxiu as the successor capable of achieving its rebirth through fusion. 430

Under Zhong Shenxiu’s cultivation and repeated energy infusions, the ruined realm gradually regained its terrain, stars, life, clan members, and Dragon Fighters. It later became a fully independent Great Plane capable of sustaining itself without attaching to another world. 91 119 251 336 351

During its concealed recovery, the Holy Spirit Cult detected an apparent newly born minor plane beneath Skysea City. Its Plane Locator associated the plane's origin aura with Zhong Shenxiu's Radiant Dragon Power, prompting the cult to seek his power as a means of locating it. Zhong Shenxiu recognized the target as the Dragon Fighting Plane and regarded its discovery by the cult as an existential threat to its surviving inhabitants. 227

As inhabitants awakened over the following three years, Psychedelic Black Hand and Leng Yulai arranged their infiltration into the East Sea region. When the fifth and sixth charging stages were completed, Aquarius Star Dragon established a new anchor point near the East Sea and sent available Star Dragons to protect Zhong Shenxiu while others concealed the recovering plane's fluctuations. 260 336

Following Zhong Shenxiu’s ascension as the Myriad Creation Dragon God, he accepted both the Fighting Dragon Clan and Black Hand Clan without distinction, ending their historic factional divisions. The revived plane subsequently regained flourishing mountains, rivers, forests, dragon hatchlings, and stable settlements for its surviving inhabitants. 449 460

After its return, the Dragon Fighting Plane began openly extending its influence into the Douluo Plane through the East Sea. Its forces were identified by the Sun-Moon Federation as otherworldly invaders, while Black Hand Clan operatives and Fighting Dragon forces pressed against Federation territory. 537 561

After acquiring the Thunder Whale God's inheritance, Zhong Shenxiu declared his intention to devour the Thunder Whale Plane, and Vance pledged to serve as his vanguard against its rulers. Zhong Shenxiu subsequently convened the Grand Dragon Assembly before the central altar, gathering more than one thousand warriors and announcing an expedition to reclaim the inheritance from its occupiers. He ordered departure in three days, assigned the Twelve Star Dragons and Six Phenomena warriors to the campaign, and left Badi Holy Dragon to guard the Plane Core. 594 605 606

The campaign stirred intense enthusiasm among the Fighting Dragon Clan. Members stationed in the Douluo Plane's East Sea region protested being excluded, regarding participation in the cross-plane expedition as a matter of honor and an opportunity to proclaim their homeland's rebirth. 606 607 608

As the Thunder Whale Plane collapsed, Sagittarius Star Dragon and five other Star Dragons transferred the Western Frontier Sea and its inhabitants into the Dragon Fighting Plane through the Hexagram Devouring Formation. The army tallied its spoils and withdrew through a stable passage opened by Capricorn Star Dragon. Vance and Lan Jinghe followed before the Thunder Whale Plane's remaining land shattered, arriving as the transferred seas and islands began merging with the Dragon Fighting Plane's East Sea. 614
