Background / History

Demon Subduing Douluo is one of the Consecration Hall's Titled Douluo, alongside Lion, Feather, Azure Phoenix, and Qianjun Douluo. When Qian Renxue brings Ji Ye before the hall on an accusation of grave robbery, he is the first elder to approach the masked youth, casually putting an arm around him before the accusation makes him freeze. Ji Ye's purple–purple–black–black ring configuration leaves him stunned alongside the other Consecrators. 3

After Ji Ye withstands Qian Daoliu's Soul Saint-level pressure and joins Spirit Hall, Demon Subduing quickly changes his attitude, enthusiastically declaring that Ji Ye could not be a grave robber and urging him to remove his mask. He openly praises Ji Ye's appearance once the mask comes off. 4

He personally tests Ji Ye in a sparring match, initially suppressing his own speed and strength.
