Raditz wasn't sure if he could get them to help him collect Dragon Balls from other villages.
He shared this thought with Elder Moori.
Elder Moori pondered for a long time.
"As your friends from Earth, I trust they are all upright and peace-loving individuals."
Whether they were peace-loving or not, he didn't know, but they were certainly all quite combative.
Raditz felt that Elder Moori must have just received a prompt from the Grand Elder; he couldn't make this decision on his own.
As long as it worked, that was fine.
The Namekian Dragon Ball squad, assemble!
The group split into four teams.
Raditz and Bulma were one team.
Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu were one team.
Krillin and Yamcha were each on their own.
"Ahem, let me say a few words."
Seeing his companions eager to get started, Raditz cleared his throat with a pretentious air.
"This time, the Dragon Ball squad needs to keep three points in mind!"
"First, never act on impulse!"
"Second, never misjudge..."
Smack! Raditz suddenly slapped himself across the face.
Seeing everyone looking at him with strange expressions, Raditz laughed sheepishly. "Everyone just needs to remember that the Dragon Balls are secondary; you can interact with them in a friendly manner."
"That is the main point, and it relates to whether you can become stronger later on."
"Become stronger?" Krillin and Yamcha were both confused.
"What could those two things possibly have to do with each other?"
"Just do as he says," Tien Shinhan said.
"Alright, that's all I have to say. Everyone, take your Hoi-Poi Capsules and let's move out!"
The group took out their Dragon Radars, each chose a direction, and flew off in different ways.
"What about us?" Seeing that only she and Raditz were left, Bulma grew bolder and reached out to hook her arm through Raditz's.
"Us?" Raditz looked at the Dragon Ball location on the radar that no one had chosen. "We're in no rush."
Since there were people helping to collect the Dragon Balls, they should naturally take the time to enjoy themselves.
Raditz carried Bulma on his back, took to the air, and began to fly slowly in one direction.
One month later.
"Is he cute?" Raditz asked.
"Hmm... he's alright."
"Want to try petting him?"
"Is that okay?" Bulma hesitated slightly.
"Just go ahead," Raditz said. "How is it?"
"Pretty nice."
"Right?" Raditz also gave the child's head a vigorous rub. "I really should take a picture. When we get back and show Piccolo, his expression will definitely be interesting."
"..."
Dende looked at the two of them, speechless.
Although he had only been born three days ago, he wasn't some soft egg that hadn't even hatched yet.
He could already speak, see, and walk on his own.
He struggled hard to break free from the restraint of that large hand.
"Who are you, mister?"
Raditz: "..."
Who was he calling a mister?
The giant palm descended once more.
"Alright," Bulma rolled her eyes. "Look, he's already dodging you."
She didn't know what was going on; Elder Moori had said that a new companion had been born in their village and named him Dende.
Turles had insisted on coming over to take a look.
There were other Namekian children in this village, so what made this Dende so special?
He was indeed special.
Raditz remembered that this Dende possessed healing abilities.
Furthermore, the effect was equivalent to a Senzu Bean.
In that future where Senzu Beans were scarce, his utility was particularly prominent.
However, it was still early, and Raditz still had a considerable number of Senzu Beans on hand.
He had only come over out of boredom; having encountered a familiar name, he decided to take a look.
He had already traveled across the entire planet with Bulma.
They had gazed out at the sea, wandered through the mountains, and looked up at the stars.
Oh, there were no stars; this planet was surrounded by three small suns, so there was no such thing as night.
To be honest, the population on this planet was still too small, far less than Earth's, making it appear slightly monotonous.
Raditz could only take Bulma to play among a few villages, while incidentally checking on what Krillin and the others were doing.
They were all doing quite well, and had basically integrated into the lives of the Namekians.
The village elders had not intentionally made things difficult for them, and the trials they set were closely related to daily life.
The most troublesome one was Tien Shinhan, who needed to fight the three Namekians in his village and defeat them to pass the trial.
Although Tien Shinhan's combat power had improved significantly compared to before, how could he fight and win against Namekians with combat power nearing fifteen hundred?
According to Tien Shinhan's estimation, the strength of these three Namekians was about the same as Goku and Piccolo during the World Martial Arts Tournament era.
However, the turning point occurred after Tien Shinhan used the Solar Flare during one of the challenges.
The Namekians were particularly interested in such combat techniques.
In the end, the battle turned into a stage for Tien Shinhan to show off his skills, unleashing an endless variety of techniques that, while not very powerful, were extremely useful.
When Raditz first arrived, he thought he would need to step in himself, but he hadn't expected things to evolve into a teaching session.
As expected, he was a man who had also studied techniques himself!
The collection of the Dragon Balls was very successful.
Raditz hadn't just been sightseeing; he and Bulma had also visited two other villages to complete their trials.
Ultimately, after spending nearly two months, the seven Dragon Balls were successfully gathered.
[Mission submitted]
[Integrating Seed of Miracles]
With the seven Dragon Balls successfully collected, the system's mission objective was complete.
As the system finished integrating its capabilities, Raditz suddenly discovered a mass of golden energy inside his body.
In Raditz's eyes, the originally orange Dragon Balls with their five-pointed stars had also changed.
They had become glass spheres filled with golden gas.
Raditz reached out to touch the surface of a Dragon Ball; the golden gas inside swirled frantically, and at the same time, the golden energy that had been quiet within his body began to tremble.
Raditz felt that if he wanted to, this energy could easily surge into the Dragon Ball and strengthen the golden gas within.
However, he did not do so.
Before figuring out its function, it was better not to act rashly.
Next, he attempted something else, applying this power to his entire body.
Soon, Raditz was pleasantly surprised to find that the energy produced by the Seed of Miracles could actually cause the Seed of Life to generate more life energy.
It was enough to allow him to maintain his planetary recovery speed even when he left the surface of the planet.
And now, his recovery speed while on the planet had become even stronger!
The functions discovered so far were already quite impressive, and Raditz guessed there might be other uses waiting to be developed.
June, Age 757.
Today was destined to be a day for the Namekians to remember.
They would once again witness the majestic form of their Namekian "God of Dreams," Porunga.
It had been so long since they last used the Dragon Balls that they couldn't even remember when it was.
They attached great importance to it, and all six elders gathered together to welcome this exciting moment.
However, the wisher had not yet returned; he had gone to meet the Grand Elder, along with his companions.
On the other side, after Raditz finished his preliminary tests on the Seed of Miracles, he and Krillin's group hurried toward the Grand Elder's location without delay.
"Raditz, can my strength really be improved?" Krillin asked nervously, voicing the same question the others wanted to ask.
"Based on your performance during this period, it should be possible."
At this point, Raditz wasn't even sure if the Grand Elder would unlock their potential.
He hoped it wasn't just wishful thinking on his part.
"We're here."
Raditz spotted the stone house perched on the cliff ahead, with Nail standing right in front of the entrance.
"The Grand Elder wants you to go in," he said, his tone cold.
He glanced at the group behind Raditz, but said nothing more and made no move to stop them.
The Grand Elder had already given word for Raditz to bring his friends along.
"Greetings, guests from Earth."
Seeing the Grand Elder's massive, bloated body, Krillin and the others looked stunned. "Is this also a Namekian? He looks so different from the others..."
"He is the Grand Elder of the Namekians; you can just think of him as their common ancestor," Raditz explained.
He then turned to the Grand Elder to introduce his companions. "These are my friends from Earth. They came to visit, and, well... to make use of the Dragon Balls."
"Welcome."
"I have already witnessed their conduct during this time; you are all friends of the Namekians."
"If it is convenient, please step closer. I shall bestow upon you my gift."
It worked! Raditz let out a sigh of relief.
He signaled for Krillin and the others to approach.
The Grand Elder placed his hand atop Krillin's smooth head.
"I shall awaken the latent power within your body," he declared.
"Latent power?" Krillin chuckled, looking a bit troubled. "Does such power really exist? I've been training so hard, but I haven't improved in a long time... haha..."
The next moment, a powerful aura erupted from within Krillin's body.
"Ah!"
"Power... this power!"
"My power really has grown stronger!" Krillin roared in excitement.
