Turles arrives at Kabacha Planet to harvest the Tree of Might's fruit, recruits Raditz into his crew, and attempts to use the fruit's power to overwhelm him. Raditz reveals a battle power exceeding 40,000, while Turles's reckless repeated fruit consumption causes his strength to collapse. 40

Refusing to accept defeat, Turles creates an Artificial Moon and transforms into a Great Ape. Raditz wounds him with a Kamehameha, severs his tail, and forces him back to normal. Turles then learns from Raditz that Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta and receives a Seed of Life for recovery. 41 42

Pursuit of Raditz and Gravity Training

Turles follows Raditz through space for two months, seeking both Raditz's strength and his star map. After their confrontation on Paga Planet, he and Raditz exchange information: Turles gains access to Raditz's Gravity Chamber training method, while Raditz obtains the navigation data he needs. 43 44

Although he retains the Tree of Might project, Turles orders Reiz to replicate the Gravity Chamber. His awareness of Frieza's strength gives him a new urgency to improve through training rather than fruit alone. 44

Earth Invasion

After overtraining delays him for a year, Turles reaches Earth intending to find Kakarot and plant another Tree of Might. With a recovered battle power of 40,000, he defeats Goku and Piccolo with ease and threatens to destroy Earth when Goku refuses to join him. 67 68 69

Betrayal of Kakao
