Background / History

Lu Bai awakens seventy-seven years after his death with an Ouroboros Ring and an envelope containing his “death compensation.” While attempting to purchase a Dimension Key ticket from the Tianwu Group, he is attacked by thugs seeking that compensation. An explosion and a dimensional door pull him into the Martial Forest dimension rather than his intended destination. 1 2

Marked as a Traveler from Earth, Lu Bai receives a panel and three skill slots through which modules can be assembled into supernatural abilities. He quickly recognizes that his physical prowess alone will not be enough against opponents with Internal Force, prompting him to disguise himself as a monk, investigate module condensation, and pursue martial arts. 2 3

Appearance

Lu Bai is a handsome young man whose appearance changes frequently to suit his circumstances. Upon arriving in Martial Forest, he shaves his head and wears stolen monk robes to pass as a novice monk; after a month of travel with Luo Chuan, his hair has grown long enough to tie into a small ponytail. 2 29

He is ruthlessly pragmatic in combat. Lu Bai uses quicklime, smoke, disguises, ambushes, groin attacks, hostages, and improvised weapons without concern for martial propriety.
