Background

Becca was once responsible for Homelander's public image at Vought International. Her past with him resulted in Ryan's birth; Homelander identifies himself as Ryan's biological father and admits to raping her. 2 6

For eight years, Vought isolated Becca and Ryan in a fabricated, heavily monitored community. She accepted the restrictions to keep Ryan safe, raised him as a kind and considerate child, and used the educational cartoon Gentle Return of the Block City to teach him to protect the weak rather than abuse power. 1 7

Homelander's discovery of Ryan ends Becca's attempt at an ordinary life. She resists his contact with their son, fears Ryan's growing powers, and seeks help from Dr. Vogelbaum when Ryan begins bonding with Homelander. 4 5 6

Personality
