Background / History
Tang Hao was the son of Tang Wei, the Clear Sky Sect Master, and the brother of Tang Xiao and Tang Yuehua. As a Clear Sky Sect genius, he possessed level-seventy soul power and the Clear Sky Hammer martial soul, but had not yet obtained his seventh soul ring during his conflict with Ye Xunfeng. 19
He first encountered Ye Xunfeng and A Yin in the Spirit Beast Forest, immediately showing interest in A Yin and treating Ye Xunfeng as a rival. 18 When the dispute escalated, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao attacked Ye Xunfeng together; Tang Hao used his sixth soul skill and Ring Detonation but was defeated by a single spear strike. 19
After the defeat, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao suffered heavy mental damage and later encountered Chu Ying in the Star Dou Forest. Both brothers became captivated by her, neglecting cultivation and sect duties. 30 31 71 Tang Hao eventually formed a relationship with Chu Ying and was willing to sacrifice himself to save her. 61
While protecting Chu Ying, Tang Hao accidentally injured his uncle Tang Lie. Tang Wei subsequently disinherited him and ordered him to leave the Clear Sky Sect with Chu Ying. 72 The pair lived at the foot of the sect before later settling in Holy Soul Village, where Tang Hao worked as a blacksmith and performed household labor. 73 121
Following Tang Wei's death, Tang Hao was barred from resuming his inner-disciple status despite his father's final wish. He carried guilt over his role in the sect's decline. 90 When Martial Soul Hall destroyed the Clear Sky Sect, he returned to find its ruins, destroyed what remained in anger, and left with Chu Ying. 118
Tang Hao and Chu Ying became the parents of Tang Yuhao and Tang Wutong. 157 158 He was deeply affected when both children awakened the Clear Sky Hammer, a reminder of his past and the fallen Clear Sky Sect. 193
Appearance
By the time he lived in Holy Soul Village, Tang Hao had a rough, weathered appearance associated with his life as a blacksmith. 157
- Wore a coarse grayish-black short jacket. 194
- Had a lean but powerful build. 194
- Bore a stubbled, weathered face and calloused hands. 157

Personality
Tang Hao was proud, impulsive, and unwilling to accept humiliation, particularly in his youth as a Clear Sky Sect genius. After Ye Xunfeng defeated him, he wanted to continue fighting until Tang Xiao physically stopped him. 19
His attachment to Chu Ying repeatedly overrode his judgment and obligations to his family and sect. He was willing to risk his life for her, accidentally injured Tang Lie while defending her, and later accepted exile from the sect in order to remain with her. 61 72
After losing his family and sect, Tang Hao became burdened by grief, remorse, and resentment toward Martial Soul Hall. 90 118 121 Despite this, he showed paternal warmth toward Tang Yuhao and Tang Wutong, finding renewed happiness in fatherhood. 157
