Background

Dai Mubai was the Third Prince of the Star Luo Empire and Zhu Zhuqing's arranged fiancé. While Zhu Zhuqing remained in the Star Luo Empire under threat from her sister and assassins, Dai Mubai had fled to Soto City, where he neglected cultivation and became notorious for lavish spending, nightlife, and frequently changing female companions. At the time, his Soul Power was level 37. 19

Despite his flight from Star Luo City, imperial spies continued monitoring and protecting him from the shadows. Their base also collected intelligence on the Balak Kingdom and Heaven Dou Empire, and they regularly reported his activities to Star Luo. His frequent visits to lovers in Soto City frustrated the agents responsible for watching him. 45

Zhu Zhuqing investigated him after hearing Lin Ye's thoughts and discovered his conduct firsthand.
