Background / History

Mikoto was once a jonin. The deaths of her comrades on missions caused the emotional shock through which she awakened her Three-Tomoe Sharingan; afterward, she retired from active service and became a homemaker. 177

As Fugaku Uchiha's wife, Mikoto initially embodied a reserved, traditional ideal and consistently supported his decisions. Her health later deteriorated because a blocked abdominal meridian continuously consumed chakra, leaving her with a persistent feeling of coldness and interfering with intimacy.
