Background / History

A former shut-in, Zeyu transmigrated into the Naruto world and endured ninety-eight previous rebirths. In his ninety-ninth life, he initially survived through foreknowledge of major events while considering himself weaker than even a crippled Rock Lee. Repeated early deaths and last-minute failures convinced him that relying on others was impossible; he resolved to obtain strength for himself. 1 3

He was reborn as Rilu Zeyu to Aihua and Yangmei. During the Nine-Tailed Fox Rebellion, his parents departed on what Zeyu understood to be a suicide mission, leaving him in Meiling's care. Their devotion and Yangmei's maternal love became a major source of Zeyu's determination. 3 4

Zeyu inherited the potential of both the Uchiha and Uzumaki clans. As a child, he concealed his Sharingan and began acquiring forbidden or advanced techniques, including the Flying Thunder God Technique from the Scroll of Seals. 7
