Huo Yuhao is first introduced as a wheelchair-bound youth. When he attempts to strike Qian Daoliu, a strange light blooms from his forehead and manifests as an eye-shaped martial soul. 1

Continental Tournament Incident

Huo Yuhao attempts to attack Qian Daoliu despite the warnings from the souls in his spiritual sea. Qian Daoliu discovers Electrolux's necromantic presence, destroys him, and marks Huo Yuhao for death. Du Busi, Xuan Zi, Ye Xishui, and Long Xiaoyao all intervene at different points to prevent Huo Yuhao's execution. 1 2 3 4

The Sun Moon Empire identifies Huo Yuhao as the likely source of spatially enabled retaliation against it. While traveling with his Shrek companions, he warns them that the Undead Demiplane's concealment is all that prevents their immediate encirclement. 44 45

The Sun Moon Empire's soul engineer legions ambush the group with fixed-station artillery shells, exposing Huo Yuhao's spiritual camouflage. The Snow Empress takes control of him and attacks, but Kong Deming's tenth-rank soul weapon suppresses the offensive. Xiao Xiao and He Caitou die in the ensuing backlash, while Wang Qiu'er sacrifices herself to protect Huo Yuhao. 46
