Background / History

Tang Yuehua was born into the Clear Sky Sect as Tang Xiao and Tang Hao’s younger sister. After Tang Hao’s conflict with Spirit Hall caused the sect to face retaliation, her father died in anger and the sect prepared to seal its gates. As Yuehua had previously separated from the sect and lacked the strength to defend herself in Heaven Dou City, Tang Xiao arranged her marriage to Ronan as protection from Spirit Hall and opportunistic factions. She accepted, viewing the union as a necessary transaction to protect both herself and her family. 1

Although Yuehua had earlier left the Clear Sky Sect over philosophical differences, the Elders’ Council later formally severed ties with her during the crisis to protect the sect. This abandonment, combined with the ridicule she endured for her defective Martial Soul, left her deeply disillusioned with the sect. 1 92 97

Before the sect’s decline, Yuehua had established Moon Pavilion in Heaven Dou City. Its reputation and safety depended heavily on her Clear Sky Sect background; once the sect withdrew, rival factions began trying to discredit the institution and capture her as leverage. 4 5
