Earth-Armored Giant Dragon Hunt
Ronan and Tang Xiao enter the forest to hunt the Earth-Armored Giant Dragon for Ronan's eighth soul ring. They locate the beast in its hidden valley, defeat it through coordinated combat, and Ronan absorbs its hundred-thousand-year spirit ring and right-arm bone. 12 13
Tang Yuehua's First Soul Ring
Ronan brings Tang Yuehua to the forest's outer region after resolving her Martial Soul defect. He finds a four-hundred-year Light Spirit Deer compatible with her Ruyi Ring Martial Soul, allowing her to obtain her first soul ring and advance to level fifteen. 19
Assault on the Lake of Life
After condensing his Three-Pattern Spirit Core, Ronan returns to the forest intending to obtain a hundred-thousand-year ninth spirit ring. He encounters A Rou, reaches the core area through her guidance, and attacks the Lake of Life after she removes Xiao Wu from the battlefield. 32 35 36
Ronan kills the Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape, absorbing their hundred-thousand-year spirit rings into his two Martial Souls. The Dark Demon Dragon's absorption releases a darkness aura that withers life across dozens of kilometers of the core area and awakens Di Tian in the Land of Great Evil. 37 38 39
Di Tian's Pursuit
Di Tian confronts Ronan in the forest after detecting the Dark Demon Dragon's aura. Ronan wounds Di Tian and escapes, while Di Tian later departs the forest to track him in the human world. 40 41 43
Ronan subsequently returns to the forest's heart to seek Di Tian's help with the imbalance between his light- and dark-attribute Martial Souls. He signals Di Tian by displaying his nine spirit rings and later agrees to reveal the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well in exchange for assistance. 79 80 81
Di Tian's assistance allows Ronan to condense Yin-Yang Complementary Dual Soul Cores. Afterward, Di Tian unexpectedly entrusts Ronan with protecting the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well before returning to the Star Dou Forest. 84
Western Sinkhole Treasure
A violent earthquake on the forest's western edge collapses a mountain and reveals a bottomless sinkhole radiating a strange treasure aura. The phenomenon draws numerous soul-master factions, including Ning Fengzhi, Chen Xin, Bai He, and Ronan. 110 111
Ronan's departure from the forest after this incident terrifies the gathered soul masters, while Bai He follows him in hopes of seeking aid for the Speed Clan. 117
Dragon Clan Revival Plan
After Di Tian later visits Moonlight Pavilion, it is revealed that a sleeping existence in the forest's deepest hidden space regards Ronan as a possible hope for the Dragon Clan's revival. Di Tian tests Ronan's increased strength and attempts to direct him toward the inheritance left by the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King. 174 178 179
Di Tian explains that no known spirit beast can satisfy the inheritance's combined requirements of superior Dragon Clan bloodline, sufficient physical strength, and affinity for both ultimate ice and fire. Ronan's twin dragon Martial Souls and unusual constitution therefore make him a uniquely viable candidate. 180
