Chapter 9: Pangu's Information

Billions of demons gathered at Mount Buzhou. Demonic aura surged across the sky for tens of thousands of miles, while their colors dazzled in a brilliant rainbow!

As He Yu drew closer to Mount Buzhou, he witnessed its grandeur: it towered between heaven and earth, the first mountain since Pangu created the world! The vast range that supported it was packed with towering peaks. Compared to it, the Five Great Mountains of his previous life wouldn't even measure up to a single hill. Gathering demonic aura in his eyes, He Yu could see clearly that the Mount Buzhou Range teemed with countless heavenly treasures, densely packed and of terrifying age. The youngest he saw were over a thousand years old, and there were plenty that were ten thousand years old or even older. The spiritual energy of heaven and earth had even condensed into a pale green haze visible to the naked eye.

Could the spiritual energy of heaven and earth really be so dense that it was visible?

"No wonder most Innate Deities and Descendants of Pangu were born at Mount Buzhou. I wonder if I'll meet one or two deities this time!" At the thought of deities like Hongjun, the Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, Fuxi, Queen Mother of the West, and Duke of the East, He Yu grew excited, but at the same time, he was worried. His cultivation was too low. It was said that in the Primordial World, status followed cultivation! And if even one or two of those deities turned out to be unfriendly, he might not make it out alive!

Riding his demonic aura, he flew quickly, more than twice as fast as a plane or rocket. Even so, after flying for a long time, the pillar of Mount Buzhou ahead had barely grown thicker. It was clearly still far away, though he was now close to the edge of the Mount Buzhou Range. Only then did He Yu notice something strange: countless demons who had arrived ahead of him were waiting outside the range instead of entering, and he couldn't sense a single living creature inside it.

"What's going on? How could such a vast mountain range, blessed with such terrifying spiritual energy, have not a single living creature?" He Yu couldn't make sense of it.

As he pondered this, He Yu reached the edge of the range. By now, eight or nine out of every ten demons who had set out along the way had arrived. They stood packed together outside the Mount Buzhou Range, not daring to take a single step beyond the line.

He Yu paid no attention to the demons' bizarre variety. As he neared the edge of the Mount Buzhou Range, he sensed an aura—noble, vast, ancient...!

"Pangu's aura?" He Yu trembled all over. He was certain its owner had to be Great God Pangu. Only Pangu could possess such an aura.

As soon as he sensed Pangu's aura, a piece of information appeared in He Yu's mind. After reading it, he understood why billions of demons had gathered here.

It turned out the Mount Buzhou Range was filled with Pangu's Pressure. Anyone with insufficient cultivation who entered would be annihilated. So although countless demons had discovered this place and coveted its treasures and spiritual energy, they hadn't dared to cross the line. This time, however, a piece of information had appeared within the aura Pangu emitted: before long, half of Pangu's Pressure in the Mount Buzhou Range would converge on Mount Buzhou. Hidden among the demons, He Yu watched the billions of demons eyeing one another warily, glaring furiously, and even rolling up their sleeves for a fight. He knew that once Pangu's Pressure in the Mount Buzhou Range shifted inward, a tremendous battle among the demons would begin.

A battle to the death between billions of demons?

He Yu knew that was impossible. Once Mount Buzhou opened, many demons might fight to the death, but most would surely enter to search for Pangu's Information. In particular, the various Demon Kings would lead their lesser demons in groups. Before Pangu's Information appeared, a major clash was unlikely.

"This might be a golden opportunity!" He Yu calculated. With billions of demons gathered here, he could fish in troubled waters and get his hands on some Demon Cores to improve his cultivation. As for Pangu's Information, he would have to fight hard to seize it. It was the best opportunity he could get to understand this world!

Although he was almost certain this was the Primordial World, it didn't quite resemble the world he had imagined. Legends said that Pangu created the Primordial World when he opened heaven and earth, and that the sun, moon, and stars were there. Yet he hadn't seen any. Clearly, what he knew was mistaken. He couldn't judge things by what he remembered from his previous life; he would have to find a way to learn more!

The information from his previous life could only serve as a reference. If he relied on it, he would meet a terrible end sooner or later!

He Yu knew that Pangu's Information was an excellent opportunity. If he got it, he would at least have a head start over these demons in terms of knowledge. Then he could ride the tide and reap all the benefits!

"This time, I will get Pangu's Information. Whoever stands in my way will be destroyed!" He Yu vowed inwardly. Pangu's Information was far too important. It couldn't be compared to the Demon Cores or lesser demons from before. While he was lost in thought, the demons who had set out along the way continued to arrive. In an instant, billions of demons had gathered outside the Mount Buzhou Range. They might not represent every demon in the Primordial World, but they were a significant portion of them.

With so many demons arriving, He Yu put his thoughts aside and gazed at them in wonder. The thousands upon thousands of species amazed him. There were not only beasts, but even tree demons that moved on their roots, their enormous trunks towering above them. They looked quite amusing and truly opened He Yu's eyes. This was far more impressive than the descriptions he had read in his previous life!

The sight was fascinating, but also a little disappointing. Hardly any of the beasts described in the Classic of Mountains and Seas were here, and those few were all low-level creatures.

Without warning, the aura of Pangu radiating from the Mount Buzhou Range began to surge violently. The demons who sensed it immediately trembled, their expressions changing in alarm.

"Is it about to begin?" He Yu tensed. This was no small matter! He could never allow another demon to obtain Pangu's Information.
