Background

Ye Yuexin is a transmigrator whose previous-life name was Li Huan. An orphan in that life, he retained memories of Little Li’s Flying Dagger and sought to bring its “never miss” reputation into the ninja world. 1 2

He was brought to Konoha as an infant by Ye Yueming, who had rescued Yuexin’s mother during his travels. The woman was reportedly a ninja, but neither her identity nor background is known. Ye Yueming later registered Yuexin as a Konoha resident. 47

Using a chakra-training scroll and funds left by Ye Yueming, Yuexin awakened chakra early and entered the Ninja Academy at four. His wind affinity shaped both his self-created footwork and his throwing-blade techniques. 2

After graduating alongside Uchiha Itachi, he undertook wartime missions. His defeat of the elite jonin Lin Mu made him widely known in Konoha, despite his and Itachi’s attempt to obscure how the victory occurred. 18 19

Appearance

Despite his confidence in battle, he recognizes his own mistakes. His clashes with elite jonin taught him that overconfidence, insufficient chakra reserves, and limited offensive options could be fatal. 21 38

He is loyal to comrades and refuses to abandon them in critical moments. During the battle against Taiyuan Zeng, he rejected Might Guy’s proposal that Guy stay behind as a sacrifice, inspiring Ebisu to remain and fight as well. 34
