Yu Changge’s first journey into the forest begins with a search for a light-attribute draconic subspecies. After ten days of searching from the outskirts into the mixed zone, his family locates the Radiant Holy Winged Dragon. 16

During a separate expedition, Yu Xiaogang enters the forest with Yu Luomian to acquire his first ring. He chooses the Void Thunder Gas-Swelling Dragon despite its unsuitable condition, resulting in the infamous first soul skill that causes Bluesilver Grass to wither. 43 45

Yu Changge’s Third and Fourth Rings

Yu Changge returns in search of a third soul ring and encounters the rare Holy Light White Jade Dragon, whose light-and-fire attributes suit Xiao Huang. 59 60

For his fourth ring, Yu Changge enters alongside Bibi Dong and Yue Guan seeking a ten-thousand-year Heavenly Dragon Horse. The group witnesses the conflict between the dragon-horse pair and the Human-Faced Demon Spider Emperor’s group, then waits for the battle to weaken the suitable targets before acting. 97 99

Thunder Canyon Expedition

Yu Tianqing, Yu Shuyao, Yu Ming, Yue Guan, and Gui Mei travel to Thunder Canyon to seek high-age lightning-attribute dragons for eighth soul rings. Yu Tianqing and Yu Shuyao confront an eighty-thousand-year Thunder-Patterned Flying Flood Dragon together, while Yu Ming battles the seventy-thousand-year individual in an effort to break through to Soul Douluo. 126 127

Fifth-Ring Hunt and Spider Emperor Siege

Yu Changge’s group spends more than half a month searching the mixed zone for a roughly thirty-five-thousand-year soul beast with a pure bloodline and an amplification-oriented skill. They eventually locate the Radiant Dragon Ni in an abandoned ruin. 133 135

After Yu Changge defeats the Radiant Dragon Ni, a hundred-thousand-year Death Spider Emperor and its swarm surround the group. Yue Guan and Gui Mei use their Two-Level Stasis Domain to immobilize the enemy force while the others concentrate their attacks on the Spider Emperor. 137

Bibi Dong’s Fifth-Ring Hunt

Yu Changge accompanies Bibi Dong to the forest to capture a Crystal Wall Demon Spider for her fifth soul ring. Rather than destroy the entire colony, he devises a plan that isolates and captures the twenty-thousand-year target. 183 184

Core-Region Exploration

Qian Daoliu leads Yu Changge, Yue Guan, and Gui Mei into the core region while searching for a sacred light-attribute, dragon-blooded soul beast capable of granting Yu Changge a true-damage sixth skill. 204 206

Qian Daoliu senses Da Ming, Er Ming, and Xiao Wu near the lake but deliberately directs the group away. They later find and hunt the Holy Light Crystal-Tailed Scorpion Dragon. 206 207
